Goose is a talktive, loving cat. We adopted her at 6 momths old in 2009. She has been our only pet since. She is spunky at times and playful. Other times she is a lazy nap cat. She has big eyes and loves to chat. When we adopted her, she came spade and de-clawed in the front. We have two children that have grown up around her and she adores them. So no issue with kids, so long as they are not grabby or aggresive, she is an older cat, so that makes sense. She loves to cuddle on the couch and really loves her tuna. She grazes on kibble in between soft food meals/snacks.

OJ is a cuddle magnet and loves to be right by your side. She’s a goofball that also loves to play tons. I love her so so much and know she’ll be great for any adopting family!

You may remember Lorelai when she first arrived at HB last summer with two newborn kittens. Everyone had been adopted once the kittens were weaned. Unfortunately, due to changes in family circumstances, Lorelai finds herself back at HB. She is already treating us with 'biscuit making', head bumps and lots of purrs. Lorelai has made great progress in the cattery and spends most of her days with the other cats. She demands respect from them and in turn she gives them their space too. Indoor Only! Willow was born in October 2025 in a cat shelter. She has a bonded buddy that we would prefer to keep them together, but understand that may not be an option. Willow is very smart, social, and loves to snuggle. She does well with babies and other cats. She has not been around dogs or other animals. Our son originally adopted Willow along with her buddy, but has found that he is severely allergic.We are fostering Willow and her buddy until we can find the right home for them. They are spayed/neutered, microchipped,vaccinated, and litter trained. We would keep them, but we have an older cat that is not cat friendly. Willow and her buddy currently reside in our finished basement with lots of room, toys, and attention. The other cat MTG, he' not so bright, but he will let you drag him around the house by his leg (toddler). He is a reluctant snuggler, but once he snuggles, he is all in. He likes to find himself stuck in some sort of situation. He is who he is.

Ellen was a feral stray who kept having her kittens at a kind person's house.  They were able to catch her and her 3 kittens to get them to safety.   Ellen's past has left her somewhat feral and slow to trust.   ##1632061##

Ren and his siblings were born outside and may have stayed there is a sweet lady hadn't stepped in to provide them a safe place to grow. This little family is one of the most loving little group. You will find them playing with their new friends and he loves new moving toys. Ren is the shyest of the group but once he knows you a little bit ~ he is super loving. His foster mom will tell you this little group just want attention and love. This sweet tabby boy is just beautiful. He is curious about what is going on at the shelter. He is enjoying all his new friends and all the toys and love from the volunteers. Kregan is a ginger bobtail baby. He was abandoned and is now learning to trust the volunteers and come out for some loving. We can't wait to see him bloom in his new environment and know he will be a loving boy with his forever person. Ginger babies are very loving with great personalities.
