Adoption fee is $140 for cats, $260 for a pair. The fee includes FeLV/FIV testing, age appropriate FVRCP shots, spay/neuter, microchipped and Rabies vaccination. Visiting the shelter is a primary condition for adoption. The ability to download, print, and fill out an application at home to bring with you is merely a convenience. Adoptions will not be done online, over the phone, or through FaceBook. All adoptions are done at the shelter. As per the adoption agreement, for their own health and safety, Kitty City cats are to be indoor cats only. And, under no circumstances is a Kitty City cat to be maimed by "declawing". I was highly interested in having a cat and very excited to raise him. Overtime my aunt started to get sick and kept going to the hospital and was told nothing was wrong. We didn’t want him to be an outside cat because of the environment picking up stray cats or calling animal control so we let him walk freely around the house. Fast forward weeks later my aunt started to have very bad headaches and hard time managing her breathing. Her test results came back and turns out she was allergic to our cat so we can no longer keep him anymore sadly. ☹️. he’s a very clingy cat and wants love from every human that’s walks in the house it’s his way of marking himself onto you.
