Calico kittens & cats in Herrin, Illinois

Carbondale area folks: Our precious cat, Cleo, came back to us after spending a blissful year with a young mom and her 2 boys while dad was stationed overseas. Sadly they cannot take her with them to Japan. Our dilemma is that our other cat, Cookie, is being terribly mean to Cleo - she doesn’t remember her sister 😢 Cleo is spayed, very sweet, gentle, great with kids, even rough kids. She is litter box trained and can be an inside or outside or combination cat. We want to find a loving, other-cat free home for her. She loves people more than anything and will make a very good pet. Cora is one of four kittens that was found with their mother, Chanel. Chanel knew the folks were trying to help and allowed them to pick her up and get the little family to us. Darcee was a stray that was brought to PAWS after she went into a house with a man when he got home from work! No one stepped up to claim her so we had her vetted - Spayed, shots, microchipped, - and now she is ready for her forever home. She is a beautiful calico that is only about 1 1/2 years old. She is very affectionate but does have her "calico moments". She loves sitting on the office desk and lying up on the counter watching for folks to come in. She will make a great companion. She does well with other cats after they are introduced properly and has developed a close bond with Tiana (one of our chihuahuas who loves cats!!). Her adoption fee is $100. Hi 👋 potential adopter! This is Daisy and we have had her for about 5 months. She is 8-9 months old and she is super sweet! She loves attention and she makes it known! She often trills or chirps and it seems that it is her main way to communicate everything! My wife and I love cats and already had 6 indoor cats when we found Daisy. We have seemingly tried everything to help her mesh into our family and unfortunately, it has not fully worked out. She plays with 4 of our 6 cats and unfortunately for the other 2, they do not get along and she has been stressing them out. I know Daisy can be the best friend for someone and she is more than capable to thrive in a home environment. I think she would do will in a home with kids and perhaps fewer cats in the household. I cannot stress enough that she is seriously one of the sweetest cats I have ever met. She LOVES to play and has no problem staying inside and eating, drinking and using the litter box. She deserves a great home!

He feels most at home sitting in someone’s lap, content to just spend time with you (though he does love spring toys if you have any to spare). Kahvi is a little over 2 years old, and was found wandering the streets with some allergy issues. He is currently being treated for this, and he’s already grown most of his glossy hair back! Since becoming an indoor cat, we have discovered that he does not like to share the spotlight and does not do well in environments with other cats, but would adore having his very own human (or humans!) to call his own.

With bright, curious eyes and a soft, glossy coat, she loves to explore her surroundings—and then curl up nearby to keep you company. We rescued her in Herrin last summer. She is small for her age and very friendly. She loves to play with us and our other cats.
