Koda Bear is a sweet cat looking for her forever home! She is 6 years old and spayed. This playful girl will jump straight into your arms if you open your arms in front of your chest!

Margo came to PAWS pregnant and gave birth to five beautiful babies the very next day. She had been living as a stray on the streets of Cairo, IL, for all of her life as far as we know. But a kind gentleman came to her rescue and began to feed her and provide shelter for her. He was sad to surrender her but said he just could not continue to care for her and just wanted her to be safe. She is THE sweetest cat I have ever known and she is beautiful. (Unfortunately, she is not very photogenic so her pictures really don't do her justice!) She is immediately friendly with everyone and just wants to love and be loved. She is very quiet and calm and has been an exceptionally great mom. Now that she has the babies old enough to go to their forever homes, it is her turn to have the love and comfort of her very own home and family. She has been spayed, microchipped and has a rabies shot. She did test positive for FIV but I pray that does not stop someone from giving this precious girl the life that she deserves. Most research shows that this can only be transmitted to other cats through a deep puncture wound. It is not a danger to humans. She can live a perfectly normal life, she just may not live quite as long as a non FIV cat. Please consider welcoming this girl into your home. Her adoption fee is $100 and she is ready to go home. Lee is one of five kittens that Momma Liza managed to keep alive against all odds. They were found in an alley starving and covered in fleas. Poor Liza was too weak and sickly to even clean herself or her babies. But all of that is behind them and Lee is ready for his new home. He is also a really good helper. He sits quietly in the corner of each litter box and watches me clean it every morning and every evening! He is a very loving boy who also loves to play. Manning was brought in after a young woman witnessed him being thrown from a car. Miraculously, he was not injured - only scared and confused by the cruelty. He was just a tiny helpless baby who deserved so much better than what humans had shown him up to that point. But thanks to the kindness of this stranger, he was brought to PAWS where he could be loved and cared for until he was old enough to be neutered. It just so happened that Liberty and her litter had just arrived and Manning soon joined them and became the sixth child! He fit right in and has been the older bubby ever since!
