Calico kittens & cats in Paducah, Kentucky

If you are interested in adopting this animal from us, please visit our facility at 6301 U.S. Highway 68 East, Benton, KY 42025. All adoption applications and interviews must be completed in person at the facility after meeting the animal. All unaltered animals are required to be spayed/neutered by the adopter's veterinarian by the date indicated on the animal's adoption contract. We adopt animals out within a 3 hour radius from our Benton, KY facility.

Cora is one of four kittens that was found with their mother, Chanel. Chanel knew the folks were trying to help and allowed them to pick her up and get the little family to us. The kittens were estimated to be 12 days old at that time as they opened their eyes just two days after coming to PAWS. Cora is a calico who is playful and smart. She is loves chasing her little ball and her brother! She is ready to find her forever home and will be fully vetted and ready to go the first week of August. Darcee was a stray that was brought to PAWS after she went into a house with a man when he got home from work! No one stepped up to claim her so we had her vetted - Spayed, shots, microchipped, - and now she is ready for her forever home. She is a beautiful calico that is only about 1 1/2 years old. She is very affectionate but does have her "calico moments". She loves sitting on the office desk and lying up on the counter watching for folks to come in. She will make a great companion. She does well with other cats after they are introduced properly and has developed a close bond with Tiana (one of our chihuahuas who loves cats!!). Her adoption fee is $100. Korra is not a fighter and my other cats are bullying her. She would just hide from them. Korra is about 8. Shes good with dogs and loverd our german shepherd and would maybe be good with calm older cats. I have 8 cats including her. All vetted and loved. My other cats have decided they hate her. No blood or anything crazy but lots of fighting, keeping her away from us (the humans), and basically keeping her isolated. We tried the calming sprays, the treats, the plug in air scents that are supposed to calm them, and even putting her in a room for two or so weeks and trying to reintroduce her slowly like a new cat. Nothing has worked and its been over 3yrs of trying different things. She has now started to gain weight and isnt doing her regular grooming. She is depressed and the only option I see is rehoming her. I'm big on not giving up an animal but I'm not sure how else I can help them accept her. I don't want to just give her to anyone. I want her to have the home she deserves.
