Story
Jojo is a wonderfully cuddly, curious and energetic cat. She still acts like a kitten. Unfortunately, our life circumstances have changed and Jojo isn't able to get the attention she deserves. She loves to play, chase, and cuddle. With kids going off to college, and us having to travel more, Jojo has become a bit anxious - the vet has confirmed that there is no illness, she just needs a place to be a bit free and more attention. Jojo has never been aggressive, would do great in a home with a cat, kids, anywhere really.

Not good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Bea is a year & a half old. She wandered in on Oct 14 from the wooded area behind our house, wet, cold, hungry & full of ticks. We brought her in, fed her, cleaned her up and removed all the ticks. I applied a dose of Revolution & set her up in a spare bedroom to relax. I posted fliers on FB and reports with local shelters with no luck, sadly. I took her to the vet, got her shots, started antibiotics for her infection and had her spayed at a later date. I’ll be bringing her back to the vet soon to get her booster and microchip. She’s a sweet, friendly, vocal, loving lap cat but she wants to be the queen of her castle and the only cat in the household. I have 5 other female rescues & one male so despite being so loving, she wants the whole house to herself. I hope to find a home where she can be stress free, happy, safe, healthy & a little princess all on her own. I’ll include her window sunny seat that she loves. I’m sad I have to rehome her but she deserves a stress free & happy home.

Story
Meet our Gypsy Gypsy is a beautiful 3.5 year old dilute calico. She is so so sweet. She loves pets and hiding in her little cubby box. She will even give little kisses on your hands . Gypsy was brought to us due to inappropriate urination. She is an anxious kitty and had possibly inflammatory cystitis. After some medication and some pheromone spray to help calm her anxiety, and getting her into a different environment, she has relaxed well with us. She has not had any urinary accidents since being with us. She still likes to hide in her secure cubby box, but she loves it when people visit with her and give her pets in there. She is such a sweetheart We recommend her adopters to use Feliway, a natural pheromone to help calm her. She has done very well with it. The $85.00 adoption fee (  payable by cash or check only  ) includes: spay/neuter; vaccinations; senior bloodwork, microchip; fecal testing w/ giardia, flea prevention, and FIV/FeLV testing. Cats and kittens available for adoption may be seen by visiting us during office hours, an application is not needed to adopt cats and kittens. Our adoption application may be found by going to: www.headinhomerescue.org; then click on the link to the adoption application. Cats for adoption may be seen by appointment only following an approved application.  Please note: while we welcome out of state applications, we do not ship our animals and require adopters to come to Holland to finalize any adoption.
