I got here when I was 15 old she is my baby. She is such an amazing companion. Never scratched or bit anyone or anything. Enjoys lots of cuddles and kisses. She is 6 years old a calico. My family went through some financial issues and can no longer afford her. I am looking for someone who will be kind and love her company. She doesn’t need a lot. Just some food and water and petting here and there. She is more of an indoor cat. She is already trained on how to use her kitty litter box. She likes it to be very clean.

Gnarles a lovable cat who brings so much personality to our home. We’re rehoming him due to allergies affecting the kids, so we can’t keep him comfortably. We’re looking for a caring home that will give him lots of love, playtime, and cozy spots to relax.

Meet Mew! When Mew first came to us as a stray, we were concerned with her condition. She came in with infected eyes and wounds over her face (see photo). After she got some love, care, and medications, she improved in just a few days!  Mew does need a special home. She tested positive for FIV which stands for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. This means she will have a weakened immune system which can lead her to be more prone to infections. Despite this, she can still live a full and happy life! FIV is transmitted to other cats via bite wounds. While we do not think Mew would bite another cat, this isn't something we can control and we want to keep everyone protected. Therefore, we will not adopt her out to a home that has cats in the home *unless* if they are also FIV positive. She can go to a home with dogs as FIV cannot be transmitted to dogs.  We believe Mew is about 8 weeks old. She is beautiful, sweet and full of spunk! She is spayed, current on vaccines, and has a negative fecal test (negative for all parasites).  The $125.00 adoption fee ( payable by cash or check only ) includes: spay/neuter; vaccinations; microchip; fecal testing w/ giardia, flea prevention, and FIV/FeLV testing.  Our adoption application may be found by going to: www.headinhomerescue.org; then click on the link to the adoption application. Mawey is a super sweet cat and loves affection from time to time but is also very independent. She is apprehensive when meeting new pets and it may take her a few days to a week to get used to them but she will adapt. She has had a few pet roommates before. She gets along super well with men and women and has no problem being around children. She’s got a little feisty playful side to her but she mostly loves to lay around and eat!
