Her foster parents are KAR Office.   The adoption fee for Keely is $70. If more than one cat or kitten is adopted the adoption fees are discounted. Please complete our online application form if you are interested in adopting Keely. A volunteer will contact you as soon as possible. All Kalamazoo Animal Rescue cats & kittens are spayed or neutered and feline leukemia tested prior to adoption. They also are given medication to rid them of roundworms and checked and treated for fleas & ear mites, if needed. Additional vet care may have been provided depending on the particular animal's needs. All are given distemper vaccinations and depending on how long the pet has been in foster care, additional vaccine(s) may be necessary and the expense will be incurred by the adopter. Blessing was born in Texas as a stray and was adopted as a strictly indoor cat. She is 1 year and 7 months old. She's so sweet and loves to cuddle. Just looking for a loving home for her.

Meet Lulu! Lulu was a mama of newborns when she came in, and proved to be one of the best mama cats we’ve ever had! She took in orphans, and always took wonderful care of her babies. Now her babies are all grown and some have been adopted, and Lulu is ready to live her life kitten-free! Lulu loves affection and will seek it out from humans. She didn’t like other animals when she had her kittens (a normal thing) but now that the babies have grown she is warming up to the other cats in the shelter. We are not sure yet how she feels about dogs. Lucy Lucy is an orange & white female DSH DOB: September 2022 Adoption fee: $75.00 I am a very sweet and loving girl with a shy side. I can be shy at first but when I get to know you, you will see my bubbly and goofy personality. I really enjoy following people around; I will follow you until I get my pets. I really enjoy all the pets and scratches! I can be playful, but most of the time I like to sit back and observe my surroundings and all the nature outside! I do enjoy playing with toys and I really like wand toys. I like to cuddle up and take a good long nap! I can be quite independent, but I still want all the loving’s I can get! I am still working on growing my confidence every day! I am such a sweet and loving girl! I should adjust to a cat friendly dog in the home, given a slow and positive introduction. I can be shy at first, but I come around pretty quick. I am learning and growing everyday how awesome humans can be. I am an observer and curious, I like to watch everything going on around me. I am not too playful, but I could see myself coming out of my shell and having some fun! I should adjust to a cat friendly dog in the home, given a slow and positive introduction. I would do fine in a home with an older cat who is not looking for a playmate, I would also do great being the only cat! I would be best with older children, pending observed interaction. Timon Timon is an orange male DSH DOB: May 2023 Adoption fee: $75 I am a sweet but shy kitten! I can take a little bit of time to come around but when I do, I am full of love! I do love to cuddle up with my siblings and just relax. I can be quite playful like an average kitten, but I do enjoy sitting back and observing my surroundings! I can be very spunky when I want to be, but I will calm down and find my place to rest. I enjoy pets and scratches (especially on my butt and chin!) I am learning what it means to love humans and I am growing each and every day.. I would do fine in a home with another cat who is looking for a playmate and a cuddle partner, and I may do okay with a cat friendly dog with a slow and positive introduction. I may also be okay as an only cat. I would do best in a home with older children (8+) pending observation. I can be very unsure at first and may take some time to come around to the new environment. I do not enjoy being picked up; I will tolerate it for a bit, but I will let you know when I have had enough. I know I would make a lovely companion for the right person, couple, or family!
