Story
Oedipa is an 8 year old female Calico. She is spayed and up to date on shots up to around 3 years ago. We adopted her a week ago and quickly found out we are unfortunately allergic to cats. Her previous owner had her for around 5 years before having to move. Oedipa is social and very playful. She likes to "hunt" her toys and stare out the windows watching squirrels and birds. She can be very cuddly but doesn't always appreciate being grabbed at or picked up (unless treats are involved of course). Oedipa has a "brother" named Dickson who is also 8 years old and up for adoption. They are not littermates nor a bonded pair, so it is not necessary to keep the two together. They get along with each other but are fairly independent. However, best case scenario is having the two stay together.

Story
Hi. When I arrived at the shelter, they named me Lady. My name should be Queen. I am vocal, playful and perfectly capable of entertaining you for hours. I have plenty to say, plenty to do and plenty of personality. There is one thing you should know about me: I prefer to be your one and only cat. Face it, I am a calico. Why would you need another one? The volunteers know the shelter isn't the same as a home. There are other cats nearby, different people coming and going, unfamiliar sounds and a lot happening around me. What they do know is that I enjoy people, I love to play and I would like a home where I don't have to share my kingdom with another cat. And being an only cat has its advantages. No complicated introductions. No wondering whether your cats will eventually get along. No competition for the best spot on the couch. Just you and your Queen. I may not be the cat for every home—and that's okay. I only need to be the right cat for one. Could your home be my kingdom? She was found in Bloomfield, Missouri, with her littermates, Willow and Spike.Buffy is social, playful, and affectionate. She loves cozy cuddle time, lounging in sunny spots, watching the world from the window, playing with kitty toys, and joining in the fun with her brother and sister. Her sister Willow is Buffy’s best friend and confidence booster. With Willow by her side, Buffy feels secure and ready to play, explore, and enjoy everything going on around her. The two share a very special bond and can often be found curled up together.Buffy has recently been spayed and microchipped, is up to date on her vaccinations, and is perfectly litter-box trained.Buffy and Willow are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Their brother, Spike, is also available for adoption—and is never far from the action! Story
Well, howdy there, humans! I'm Bennie, the undisputed king of charm and charisma in the cat world. That's right, I've been rocking the feline scene for a solid ten years, and let me tell you, I've been searching for my purrfect match for a whopping six of those! When it comes to attention, I'm like a magnet for nose boops, kisses, and lap time. I lap up affection like it's the last bowl of cream on earth! (Side note: cats are lactose intolerant.) And let's talk playtime - nothing gets my whiskers twitching like a good ol' wand toy, especially 'Da Bird.' I'll pounce, swat, and strut my stuff like a furry ninja in training! Now, let's address the elephant in the room - or should I say, the drama queen? Yep, that was me once upon a time. But fear not, dear humans, for I've found the cure to my melodramatic tendencies - a happy pill a day keeps the diva at bay! Trust me, it's made a world of difference. When it comes to my fellow felines, I do have my standards. I prefer my playmates to be of the submissive female variety. As for our canine counterparts, as long as they're respectful and understand that I'm the true alpha, we'll get along just fine. Now, let's talk about mini-humans. While I appreciate their enthusiasm, I must admit, I prefer a more mature audience. Teens, in particular, are my jam. They can read the moment and appreciate the nuances of my unique personality. After all, age ain't nothing but a number, right? So, if you're ready to add a touch of charm, a sprinkle of sass, and a whole lot of love to your life, look no further than Bennie, your feline match made in heaven. Adopt me, and let the good times - and the nose boops - roll! If you're ready to be my forever human, please reach out to shannon@catnetwork.org. Story
Clyde is 13 yrs old as of 2/1/23, but does not act like an old man! He is very playful and talkative. He loves to be petted, and he loves to be showered with attention. He wants to always be around you and will talk if he cannot see you. He does seem to like women more than men, but has never nipped or scratched at anyone.  He would love to be in a quiet home where he would be the center of attention. Clyde would do best in a home with no cats, dogs, or people under the age of 18, and with someone who has owned cats in the past.  Clyde requires thyroid medication twice a day, and his foster mom gives it to him with canned cat food.      Our adoption application can be found here: http://catnetwork.org/adoption-application-and-fees/ Website: catnetwork.org Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheCatNetworkSTL/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/catnetworkstl Instagram: @stlcatnetwork To learn more, please contact us at info@catnetwork.org or text/call the PURR line at 636-386-7877 (text preferred).March 10, 2026, 12:44 pm

Story
Meow, and hello out there! This is Jake… from State Farm. Not really, I was rescued from a large feral cat colony in St. Louis City. I was the only kitten friendly enough to be sent to rescue after my neuter. I am independent but have learned to seek out love from humans!  I have come a long way since I joined my foster home in September 2022. I am on the small side for an adult male cat (8 lbs) but healthy and chunky! Likes: food, pets, ball toys, jumping for toys on a stick. Dislikes: nail trims, being picked up, not being allowed to share my foster mom’s food.  I would like to be adopted into a home with another playful young kitty. I am about 3 years old as of April 2025.
