Story
This beautiful girl has a personality that shines just as bright. She is a lap kitty in the making. She loves to snuggle up, and adores any and all interaction with all the people she meets. Comet still enjoys playing and snuggling with her siblings and would probably love to have a feline friend in her new home. She adores people of all ages and before she goes to her new home she will have opportunities to interact with dogs, adult cats, and children making her a very well rounded girl. Comet is already using the litter pan and will be spayed, up to date on preventatives and vaccinations at the time of adoption. To see more photos and videos you can check out the fosters TikTok page, Daisysfosterfriends.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.April 27, 2024, 4:54 am

Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Cali was dumped in our subdivision in July of 2020. She found her way to our home and we began feeding her and playing with her. We were able to catch her and took her to a TNR (trap, neuter, release program). When we brought her home we couldn't bear to have her live outside fending off coyotes etc. We slowly introduced her to our older cat and they tolerated each other. Unfortunately our older cat no longer tolerates Cali's playfulness and that's why we are here. Cali is a love bug. She likes to get up on our lap and enjoys pets and belly rubs. She likes to sleep with us and is quite the huntress of basement insects. It is breaking our hearts to have to give her away. We feel she will be able to adjust to a new home much more easily than our older cat. We would be so grateful for someone to adopt and love her like we have.

Story
Miss Pickles was a stray cat in the neighborhood that we took in during the winter because we couldn't just leave her out in the cold. Unbeknownst to us, she was pregnant so we took care of her & the kittens. So we're currently trying to find her & the kittens all homes (I'm listing them on here as well). Pickles is a great cat! She's super friendly with people, dogs, & other cats. She loves snuggling, lying on window sills bathing in the sun, & occasionally playing with toys. I really have nothing but great things to say about her as she's been one of the easiest & low maintenance kitties I've ever had. She ALWAYS uses the litter box, only scratches her scratching post, has never clawed any furniture or anything like that, & is just an all-around easy cat. Honestly I wish I could keep her & the other cats, but it's just not possible to have this many animals in our home. I really think she would be a great companion for any person or a family. I just want to find her a loving home.

Story
We took in a stray cat during the winter who happened to be pregnant and Mischief is one of the kittens from that litter. She was born 05/08/2023, so she is a little over 11 months old. Mischief is super sweet and cuddly. She can be a little shy at first but comes around very quickly. She's well behaved and gets along great with adults, children, other cats, and even dogs. She's actually super quiet; I've probably only heard her meow a handful of times. She loves snuggling with both her human and kitty siblings, but is also just fine sleeping by herself. She's a wonderful cat who would be happy in a home with other pets or even one where it's just her and she gets to be spoiled with all the love and attention to herself. I really have nothing but great things to say about her as she's been one of the easiest & low maintenance kitties I've ever had. I wish I could keep her and the other cats/kittens, but we can't and so I just want to find her a happy and loving home.

Story
Cali showed up in our yard one day with an affectionate personality and a little meow that melts your heart. She wants to be with her people/person and is very playful. She loves to visit at my desk and "ask" to jump in my lap for a little snuggle time. She has a tiny trill she uses to "talk" to her people regularly....completely adorable. I love this little kitty but we have other cats and she is determined to play/chase them and they are not enjoying it, in fact her presence is causing a lot of stress for them. Cali would be a great only cat for a multiple or single person home. She may do fine a dog but I would not try putting her with any other cats.

Story
Hello there! Are you looking for a dance partner? I've already got my tuxedo on and would love to spend some time with you. I am about two years old and have a super sweet, chill personality. I do have a special need though. The kind staff at Franklin County Humane Society worked with their partner vet to figure out that I have an auto immune disease that was causing a nasty discharge from my eyes. After several months, they figured out if I take some medication and eat a special diet, I can be just as handsome as the next guy. My medication and special food will cost $50-$100 a month. I can adapt to pretty much anything and even went on a hospice visit to see an elderly cat lover at a local nursing home. Boy, was I popular! I am not a fan of dogs if they get in my face but I can get along ok with other cats. My favorite thing is to lay in the crook of my foster mom's arm and take a nap after a long day of watching the birds and checking out what's going on. If you think I might be that special guy you are looking for, please call the shelter to set up a visit to see how special I am.
