She's always prancing or giving leg rubs so it's hard to pin her down for a photo. Right now she's living with a foster and lot's of other cats, who stress her out, so she's looking for a quiet household where she can get the love and attention she deserves. Meet KobeKobe is a 12-year-old sweetheart with the curiosity of a kitten. She loves treats, long naps, and hanging out with her people. At night, she’s the best cuddle buddy—she’ll sleep right beside you or happily settle into her own bed, whichever you prefer.We’re looking for a loving home where Kobe can feel comfortable in her golden years. My husband detection dog, and we think the dog’s presence may be causing Kobe stress, but we don’t know for certain. Since our move, she has also begun avoiding her litter box and urinating outside it. She had a normal veterinary checkup about two months ago. We want her next family to know about this and be prepared to help her settle in.Kobe is a loving companion who deserves a home where she feels safe and happy.

Ginger is a beautiful calico Queen. She is 3 years old and had one litter she is not Spayed by my choice, she was taken in by me as a stray two and a half years ago. Although she is timid she is not aggressive and loves pets and affection.

Some kittens spend their days quietly napping in a sunbeam. These are not those kittens. The Peninsula Litter believes every shoelace is a snake that must be defeated. Tom and Miki came to DPS after their owner had to move out of the country and was unable to take them along. They have been together since they were kittens, but they do not have to be adopted together. We are happy to place them separately in the right homes, or they can stay together if someone has room in their heart for two. Tom is a 3 year old Turkish Van mix who is basically a professional people person. He loves his humans and wants to be right where you are, preferably supervising whatever it is you’re doing. Curious, affectionate, and happiest when he’s beside his person, Tom is the kind of cat who wants to be part of the action rather than watching it from across the room. Miki is Tom’s 3-year-old calico sister, and her markings are absolutely one of a kind. The transition to a new home has been harder on her, so she’s taking her time adjusting. She’s been coming around beautifully in her foster home and has discovered that lounging in her cat tree is a pretty good way to spend the day. She is gentle and sweet with her humans and loves playing with toys. Miki also has a little hidden talent: she’s a mouser. Both cats are indoor cats, but when an unexpected mouse made its way into their former home, Miki apparently decided she had been hired for pest control. Problem solved. Tom and Miki would make wonderful companions, together or separately, for the right home. Tom is likely to be your shadow, while Miki may take a little more time to feel completely comfortable—but once she does, you’ll have a sweet, playful girl who knows how to enjoy the good life. Sometimes the hardest part of rescue is helping animals understand that a change in circumstances doesn’t mean they’ve lost their chance at a happy ending. Her former owner named her Kitty and had to give her up when he moved into a memory care unit. We have been fostering her for about three months.Kitty is used to being the only pet in a home and has not responded well to our other cats and dog. She is extremely affectionate and adapted quickly to her new environment. Her former owner’s daughter believes her to be about eight years old. She eats well, is not picky and enjoys looking out windows and playing with certain little toys. She is easy-going and needs a loving home where she can be the only pet and give all her love to a loving human.

Ymir is almost a year old, estimating November. He was a TNR, I adopted him back in May. He's a sweetheart to humans and a very clingy cat, he loves to cuddle and play. He is kind of shy just getting to know people, but he doesn't take too long to warm up. He does not get along with my other cat and would do best as an only cat, he is very jealous and territorial. I'm rehoming at the vet's advice, for both of their quality of life.He LOVES spring toys and golf balls, he's started learning how to fetch. He's a very intelligent cat, I'm sure a bit of patience and you'll be able to teach him tricks. He's also been desensitized to touch so you can clip his nails and grab him as needed, or wiggle him to play. Recently we've been learning an over the shoulder stretch. His favorite type of pet is having his face and ears pulled back, he'll start purring immediately.

Post-divorce, I inherited all the family pets. Unfortunately, I've recently experienced some financially devastating changes that have made it clear I can no longer care for 6 dogs and 3 cats. Because of this, I am trying to rehome several of them. This has not been an easy decision. I have already found a loving home for one of the cats and am hopeful that Soup will find one as well. The cat distribution system found us worthy of Soup in late 2012, so she is 13 Soup Baby Kitty Soft furs is her full Government name... and it fits her perfectly - UNLESS... (imagine preferred sound of doom) there is bread in a bag or wrapped in saran wrap anywhere nearby. Soup is a mighty carb huntress and will attack and devour any unsuspecting bready left within her reach. Soup is a dainty lady cat and is generally speaking, quite loving. She has limited exposure to children, but has seemed to like the small humans she has met so far. She is special needs because she is near blind in one eye.
