AFFECTIONATE, PLAYFUL LAP CAT LOOKING FOR A QUIET HOME! This is MISS KELSEY. It would be hard to find a prettier calico girl though her picture doesn't do her justice. She's always prancing or giving leg rubs so it's hard to pin her down for a photo. Right now she's living with a foster and lot's of other cats, who stress her out, so she's looking for a quiet household where she can get the love and attention she deserves. MISS KELSEY will make someone a wonderful companion while she sits on their lap as they watch TV. She is active and playful too when she's not getting loving. Tom and Miki came to DPS after their owner had to move out of the country and was unable to take them along. They have been together since they were kittens, but they do not have to be adopted together. We are happy to place them separately in the right homes, or they can stay together if someone has room in their heart for two. Tom is a 3 year old Turkish Van mix who is basically a professional people person. He loves his humans and wants to be right where you are, preferably supervising whatever it is you’re doing. Curious, affectionate, and happiest when he’s beside his person, Tom is the kind of cat who wants to be part of the action rather than watching it from across the room. Miki is Tom’s 3-year-old calico sister, and her markings are absolutely one of a kind. The transition to a new home has been harder on her, so she’s taking her time adjusting. She’s been coming around beautifully in her foster home and has discovered that lounging in her cat tree is a pretty good way to spend the day. She is gentle and sweet with her humans and loves playing with toys. Miki also has a little hidden talent: she’s a mouser. Both cats are indoor cats, but when an unexpected mouse made its way into their former home, Miki apparently decided she had been hired for pest control. Problem solved. Tom and Miki would make wonderful companions, together or separately, for the right home. Tom is likely to be your shadow, while Miki may take a little more time to feel completely comfortable—but once she does, you’ll have a sweet, playful girl who knows how to enjoy the good life. Sometimes the hardest part of rescue is helping animals understand that a change in circumstances doesn’t mean they’ve lost their chance at a happy ending. We think Tom and Miki are both ready for theirs. All kittens have all been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped. Small Tiny Dainty Baby Kitty Princess Lum Lums is her full-but very silly-name.She is truly a sweetheart; it's not her fault she has resting grumpy face. Lums is allergic to bovine dairy and grasses, this is why I listed her as special needs. Ironically, She lusts after all things milk-based. She also rather enjoys red pasta sauce - though She is not allowed itvery often.Post-divorce I inherited all the family pets. Unfortunately, I've recently experienced some financially devastating changes that have made it clear I can not properly care for all the family pets.The cat distribution system found me worthy of Lums in late 2012, so she is 13.She has enjoyed the company of a few other cats, but mostly treats them with indifference. She lives with dogs of all sizes and treats them the same way.She has near no exposure to small humans.

Her former owner named her Kitty and had to give her up when he moved into a memory care unit. We have been fostering her for about three months.Kitty is used to being the only pet in a home and has not responded well to our other cats and dog. She is extremely affectionate and adapted quickly to her new environment. Her former owner’s daughter believes her to be about eight years old. She eats well, is not picky and enjoys looking out windows and playing with certain little toys. She is easy-going and needs a loving home where she can be the only pet and give all her love to a loving human.

Eevee is a 5 year old cat I adopted as a kitten in Hawaii before moving to Las Vegas. She's healthy, never been sick, is microchipped, previously vaccinated. Her default personality is avoidant and fearful, but can warm up and enjoy being petted and groomed. She meows very loudly. If you leave your bedroom door open, she will curl up next to you while sleeping. Eevee needs to be in a single cat household. Is jealous of attention to other cats and will start fights with other cats. No human aggression (unless you bathe her). Loves home cooked salmon, steak, chicken. No dietary restrictions or food sensitivity issues. Eevee was given outdoor roaming access for a few years, before and after she was indoors only.
