Calico kittens & cats in Nevada

Juniper is a beautiful 2.5-year-old calico with a huge heart and a gentle, loving soul. She is a total cuddle bug and happiest curled up beside her people. Once she feels safe, she bonds deeply and is full of affection and purrs. She would truly thrive as the only pet. While she is wonderful with humans, living with other animals causes her anxiety. She deserves a calm, stable home where she can relax fully and be the center of someone’s world. Juniper is spayed, vaccinated, and in excellent health. She has had occasional stress-related litter box issues during major changes, but medical causes have been ruled out. In calm, consistent homes, her behavior improves significantly and she can be weened off her anxiety meds. This decision breaks our hearts, but we love her too much to keep her in a stressful situation. As a military family who relocates often, we want to give her the steady forever home she deserves. With patience, Juniper will return that love tenfold.

This beautiful 6 month old dilute calico is named LISA. She's friendly and curious as most kittens are. She gets along with other friendly cats and will make a great companion to some lucky person. Her look alike sister, Margory, is also available. LISA is spayed, current on vaccines and microchipped. Lola came to use from Texas where her owner wanted to euthanize her due to a positive FIV test. FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) is a retrovirus that many cats carry, and it is absolutely not a death sentence. After initial infection, many cats remain asymptomatic for the remainder of their lives. FIV is not transmissible to humans, and cats with a positive FIV result are often housed with other cats who do not have the virus, as transmission occurs only through deep bites (NOT grooming, sharing bowls or water, shared litterboxes, etc.). I got Pluto from a friend when she was 8 weeks old. She is almost 5 now. I sadly have to rehome her because I have to move back in with family. Pluto needs a home that isn’t chaotic because she is very timid- although is a sweetheart once she gets comfortable around you. Which may take a bit of time. She is ok with people/animals as long as they’re not aggressive or pushy. She doesn’t like to be touched by strangers at all but will hang around your presence no problem. Once she gets comfortable will come ask for a few pets. She really just wants food & to be left alone for the most part. Very low maintenance girl, loves her food & space. My other cat use to always attack her & it gave her anxiety problems. Because of her anxiety problems, it’s important for me to find her a home with someone who can be patient with her getting comfortable with them. She is such a good cat once she gets past the stage of being afraid of new people/home.

Kitty was saved by one of our wonderful volunteers when someone brought her into a vet to have her euthanized as they were tired of her. Our volunteer took her home and she is hoping to start Life #2. Kitty has unfortunately been declawed and probably not treated well as she is pretty shy until she trusts her person, then she warms up. She would do best in a quiet home. She's always prancing or giving leg rubs so it's hard to pin her down for a photo. Right now she's living with a foster and lot's of other cats, who stress her out, so she's looking for a quiet household where she can get the love and attention she deserves.
