Story
Peanut is a spayed female calico cat, born on April 22, 2019. I'm sweet, outgoing, and a bit of a firecracker of a calico. I love to be outdoors, but Daddy says only the catio from now on, though thankfully I love toy, trees, and games. I get along with kids, dogs, and other cats when they know the boundaries I have set. I love my human, and I'm the official smeller of all things. I am utd on shots, spayed and looking for my new furever home. My daddy has dementia and sadly can no longer care for all of us any longer, so her loss is your gain of my beautiful self. The adoption fee is $25. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, PVR, Rabies, flea, tick, ear mite and worm treatment. To adopt, you need to first fill out an application. Go to: https://rutherfordcountyhumanesociety.org/cat-adoption-application/ We are located in Western North Carolina. Optional transport is weekly.  After your application is approved, we will contact you regarding cost and delivery if you so desire.  March 26, 2024, 8:13 am

Not good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Miranda loves attention and petting from people, but she must be the only cat because she smacks the fire out of other cats. This is probably because she had to fend for herself and fight off other cats and who knows what else in the trailer park where she wandered around for a couple of years before we got her. She had to be fierce to protect her babies, she had at least two litters according to the two young women who fed her but didn't let her inside. Now in a loving foster home, she is enjoying being inside, safe, and no longer hungry or fighting. If you want only one pet, Miranda will bask in your attention and make a lovely companion. Miranda’s approximate date of birth is 12/10/2020.

Story
Meet Patches, a fluffy beautiful light colored calico who you will fall in love with. She is an adult and is up to date on all her medical and is ready for an awesome home. Patches came from a couple who had way too many kitties, loved them all, but eventually lost the resources and the health to care for them. They reached out to Angels to the Animals to find a loving home for their babies. Patches is a sweet and gentle soul and she would do well in a home with adults or older children. She would be perfect for the work at home professional or the young couple without kids. When you first meet her she is shy but will meow to you for assurance and when you pet her she purrs and rolls over. Please check out her best buddy Blackie James also listed under Angels to the Animals. He is the same age and is fully vetted as well. Blackie James is a sweet kitty tuxedo who loves to explore his new surroundings and is very trusting as well. Both of these kitties would acclimate quickly do a quiet household and become your besties. You will absolutely love them. If you are interested in Patches, please email info@angelstotheanimals.org for an application and more info!! You must be 22 to apply. Rehoming fee is $125. If you have room in your heart and your home for both Patches and Blackie James together, we offer deep discounts when adopting 2 together.
