Now, she confidently walks over to people, asks for pets, and has discovered that affection can actually be pretty wonderful. But Trixie is also very honest about her boundaries — when she has had enough attention, she has HAD ENOUGH! She gives little warning signs when she’s becoming overstimulated, and anyone lucky enough to love her will need to respect her signals and understand that she prefers affection on her own terms. And getting her into a carrier? Let’s just say Trixie has very strong opinions about that too! Trixie would thrive as the one and only pet in the home. She wants to be queen of her castle and soak up all the love for herself. Because she can still become overwhelmed easily, she would do best in a calm, quiet home without other cats, dogs, or small children. This special girl needs someone who appreciates quirky personalities and understands that trust takes time. This little lady was rescued with her 3 babies. It appears she lived a life outside fending for herself and trying to feed her babies. The home owner was threatening to trap them and dump them off in the middle of nowhere.  Gracie has been spayed and fully vetted, and is very thankful to live a life inside and to be taken care of. She is a happy, friendly girl, who loves being brushed, loves attention, and gets along well with others. She is currently learning about toys! Please consider opening your heart to this sweet girl.
