Calico kittens & cats in Zanesville, Ohio

We are guessing Cali is probably 1 1/2- 2 yrs old. She has been outside for awhile but you can tell she has been inside at one time. She is not currently fixed but we are willing to help pay the cost for that if she’s adopted or we are in the works to try and set that up ourselves right now. She deserves a loving family and safe home to call her own. She is on the petite side and she is super affectionate!

Jeni is a beautiful calico who is a very sweet girls son loves all humans but does NOT love cats or other dogs. She HAS to be the ONLY pet in the house. Unless there is a pet like a fish or caged pet. She cannot be with a cat or a dog. She is fine with kids and adults. She is very playful and loves fishing toys. She is fixed and vaccinated.

Little Cat is a lovely 5-year old female Calico kitty who was surrendered by her owner on August 30, 2024 because the family was moving and couldn't take Little Cat to the new residence. Little Cat has a black/orange/white short smooth coat in a calico pattern, a long tail, and a beautifully-marked calico face with golden eyes, a pink nose, a cute black 'goatee', and long white whiskers. This little sweetheart has an affectionate, outgoing personality and is always at the front of her cage when there is the slightest chance of some attention. Little Cat knows her name and is a good conversationalist. Little Cat was combo tested on January 26, 2023 and was negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm. Little Cat was examined by a veterinarian on February 6, 2023 who determined that she had already been spayed. She was given rabies vaccine and weighed 7.1 lbs that day. Little Cat may look familiar to some of our HSOV volunteers and Facebook fans. She was originally brought to the HSOV on January 26, 2023 because her beloved mistress had passed away and Little Cat had nowhere to call home. Little Cat was accompanied by nine companions at that time who had also shared her home. Little Cat was adopted on February 11, 2023 and had enjoyed a good home for the past 1-1/2 years. We'd love to see Little Cat back in a loving home where she would once again enjoy being the 'light of someone's life' and their new best friend. Vanessa and Candace are an adorable pair of 3-month old female Torbie/Calico kittens who were brought to the HSOV on October 25, 2024 by a Good Samaritan who found them in Washington County Ohio (no exact location provided). Vanessa has a lovely black/orange/white short smooth coat in a calico pattern, a long tail, and a beautiful black-and-orange face with golden eyes, a black velvet nose, and long black whiskers. Vanessa weighed 3.3 lbs on October 26, 2024. Candace has a beautiful brown tabby/white/orange short smooth coat in a torbie/calico pattern, a long ringed tail, and an adorable face with golden eyes, an orange stripe on her forehead, and long white whiskers. Candace weighed 2.8 lbs on October 26, 2024. Vanessa and Candace were given vaccinations and Pyrantel wormer on October 26, 2024. They were given booster vaccines on November 9th and November 23rd 2024. These young ladies both have a friendly, rather shy, personality and depend upon each other for comfort and security. These photos of Vanessa and Candace were taken on October 27, 2024. Neither of the girls wanted to be separated from the other, but they were fine when we provided carry-in service to our 'studio' together. Both Vanessa and Candace put on their happy faces and posed like tiny 'Kitten Fancy Magazine' models for their photo sessions. Vanessa and Candace are being listed as a bonded pair since we feel that it is in their best interest to adopted together. They will be spayed before being adopted by their new family.

Abigail is a cute 5-month old female Calico kitten who was surrendered by her family on November 2, 2024. This little playgirl has a white/black/orange short smooth coat in a calico pattern, a long black/orange tail, and an adorable (rather mischievous-looking) face with pale golden eyes, orange shading on her nose/chin, and long white whiskers. Abigail has a sweet, affectionate personality and adores attention. Her owner told us that Abigail is good with children and also with other cats. Abigail was given vaccinations and Pyrantel wormer on November 2, 2024. She weighed 6.1 lbs that day. These updated photos of Abigail were taken on November 17, 2024 when HSOV volunteers Emma Dahlgren and Carolyn Blanchard spent time with her in our 'studio'. Abigail was full of playful kitten energy that afternoon and royally entertained her fan club (smile). Abigail took center stage when she noticed an enticing feathery ribbon-covered teaser toy which prompted her award-winning performance (standing upright on her hind paws and taking matters into her cute little paws) ... You can probably cancel your tv cable service with Abigail in your home (heehee) Abigail will be spayed before being adopted by her new family (a requirement for HSOV adoptions to be finalized).

I have been at the shelter for a year now. I'm a 2 year old grey and white cat. I love to play! I love to run around during my playtime with my friends! I also love taking naps! I do like other cats but I can be a little picky with who I play with. I prefer cats that can wrestle with me but also know when to leave me alone.

Hi, I'm Daffodil. I am a 2 year old tuxedo cat and I've been at the shelter since March of 2023. I can be a little nervous at first but once I get to know you I will love you forever! I love getting pets but I don't really like being picked up as it makes me nervous. I can be selective with the cats that I like and it takes me a bit longer to get used to them. I prefer calm cats that know when to give me space. Dogs make me pretty nervous so I would prefer a home without them. I can't wait for my furever home!

Hi, I'm Pan! I am a 5 year old tuxedo kitty and I've been at the shelter since April of 2023! I love to keep to myself and sleep in my comfy cat beds. I love all of the cats I've met so far! When I first meet you, I can be kind of shy but the longer I know you, the more cuddly I am!
