Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Whitney is an older diva who is looking for a quiet home where she is the main attraction. She is shy with new people but once she gets comfy she'll make a great movie watching companion. Whitney enjoys bird watching and lots of scratches from her humans. She would do best as an only cat because she prefers to be the star of the house.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application today at https://fflah.rescuegroups.org//forms April 12, 2024, 11:12 am

Story
We have had Gracen since she was a kitten. She is now 12 years old. I am moving in with my mom to help take care of her; unfortunately my mom is allergic and has asthma. Gracen does not like dogs and did not like my male cat who has been rehomed (he tended to invade her space). She likes pets but tends to hang out by herself. She does not like thunder and will hide under the couch. She will sleep in bed with you if you like that.

Story
DOB: 1/23/2023 Why not let Funda become a fundamental part of your life? Funda is a beautiful 1 year old dilute gray tortie who’s still figuring out how to be comfortable with people. She was surrendered to colony cats when her owners could no longer care for her. She is a bit shy so she will need a patient adopter who will give her time to open up and get comfortable. You can meet her in our zen den with the other cats who do better with a calm quiet environment.  Come meet me at the cage-free Adoption Center! All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. **If interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html to expedite the process. Due to the large number of inquiries received, we are unable to respond to emails quickly.**April 17, 2024, 8:08 pm

Story
Haley is a sweet senior who found her way back  to colony cats after she was dumped by her previous adopter.  When she came to us she was scared and not eating well but she has slowly become more comfortable. She’s an easy going lady who just wants to spend her retirement curled up in a sunbeam. Could this be with you? Put in an application to meet her today. She currently resides in our boutique where she has a little more peace and quiet than in the adoption center but we’d love to introduce her to you there! Story
DOB: 2/27/2023 "With a name like Norma Jean, you would assume I am an 85-year-old human, but this assumption would be inaccurate. I am actually a 1-year-old dilute tortie seeking my forever home. Despite my youthful appearance, there's a timeless elegance to me that evokes the glamour of days gone by. However, behind this vintage-inspired facade lies a shy and gentle soul. I may not possess the confidence of a Hollywood starlet, but I have a heart as tender as a love song from the past. I've spent much of my young life tiptoeing around the edges, observing the world with cautious curiosity. Yet, despite my timid nature, there is a quiet resilience within me. With patience and understanding, I believe I can blossom into the confident and loving companion I know I can be. All I need is a gentle hand to guide me, a safe space to call my own, and a bit of time to come out of my shell. So, if you're looking for a feline friend with a vintage charm and a heart of gold, consider giving me, Norma Jean, a chance. With your love and support, I know I can shine as brightly as the stars of yesteryear, bringing joy and warmth to your home for years to come." Come meet me at the cage-free Adoption Center! Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Henry is a very sweet boy, and once you earn his trust (ways to his heart start strong with a can of cat food or some Churu!), he can't get enough attention and pets... He was surrendered by his elderly owner with his brother Midnight, as she was no longer able to care for them -- Henry really wanted to be an indoor cat, and at this point has no desire to go outside. He is looking for a quiet home without other animals in which to live with his brother. They are both a little afraid of other cats, especially those that are more dominant. Henry is about 3 years old. All cats adopted through our rescue are vaccinated, combo tested (negative unless otherwise noted), microchipped and spayed/neutered before adoptions are finalized. If you would like to adopt, please fill out the application through the link or the website at -www.whiskersofohio.org - please note that the "I'm interested" tab does NOT act as an application, this should only be used for specific questions before committing to an adoption. Please only apply for a specific kitten if you are committed to adopting! We make no breed guarantees, we are a rescue, not a breeder. Our workers are all volunteers and it takes time to process applications. We are a registered 501c3 non-profit organization, with ZERO paid workers or admins.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Midnight used to be an outdoor cat -- he was surrendered by his elderly owner, as she could no longer care for him (along with his brother Henry). Midnight needs a quiet home (ideally without other animals) where he can live out his life. He has no interest in the outdoors anymore, and will befriend you if you make an effort to let him know that he can trust you. He likes pets and chin scratches and isn't a fan of being held. He enjoys wet food and Churu treats! He is sweet, well-mannered and just needs a quiet home to live out his life. He is about 3 years old and has a $50 adoption fee. All cats adopted through our rescue are vaccinated, combo tested (negative unless otherwise noted), microchipped and spayed/neutered before adoptions are finalized. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Rosemary is a very sweet girl, she is estimated to be 1-2 years old. She's a good momma and very attentive to her babies -- she is playful and curious! She is incredibly sweet and LOVES humans -- she cannot get enough attention and is a vocal girl. Rosemary was surrendered by a family that took her in but realized that the expenses were more than they could handle to properly care for them -- she arrived with what we believe are 3 different litters of kittens! At this time, she does not get along very well with other cats -- she is definitely an alpha, and would require an acclimation period (this is suggested with ALL animals when adding to a home!). Rosemary has a $100 adoption fee, is fully vetted, and you may visit her at the PetSmart in Heath at anytime during regular hours! All cats adopted through our rescue are age appropriately vaccinated including rabies & FVRCP/Feline Leukemia vaccines, dewormed & free of fleas, combo tested (negative unless otherwise noted), microchipped and spayed/neutered before adoptions are finalized. If you would like to adopt, please fill out the application through the link or the website at -www.whiskersofohio.org - please note that the "I'm interested" tab does NOT act as an application, this should only be used for specific questions before committing to an adoption. You will receive an email confirmation when your application goes through. We make no breed guarantees, we are a rescue, not a breeder. Please only apply for a specific kitten if you are committed to adopting! Our workers are all volunteers and it takes time to process applications. We are a registered 501c3 non-profit organization, with ZERO paid workers or admins. Free transport is regularly available to Wayne/Holmes County areas! We do have the ability to fly a cat or pair of kittens via Southwest's SWATT program to any location served by Southwest Airlines. It isn't free but has been a great way to transport animals in a timely manner.
