Meet Jordy!Jordy came into the shelter on August 25th found stray and is actually a shelter alummni.Jordy is a sweet angel when it comes to meeting anyone. She does well with people of all ages, including children and loves to be loved. Dogs aren’t necessarily her thing, but she doesn’t seem to mind other cats too much. She is just a quiet little senior kitty who loves to loaf and snooze on a soft bed.Jordy is the best at keeping a clean kennel and loves to indulge in a crunchy kitty treat. Our staff says that their favorite thing about Jordy is that she is like a hobbit. She enjoys the small, simple things in life. She loves treats, napping in the afternoon sun, and having an established routine that feels comfortable and inviting. But sometimes she yearns for small adventures that teach her new lessons and encourage her to learn about the things around her. We all love Buddha. He`s a shelter favorite. Buddha is an older cat who is FIV+. He`s spent 3 years in the shelter now, during which time he has charmed us all. He`s a big, smart, confident cat who clearly lived on the streets a long time.He`s the type of cat that likes being petted-until he doesn`t anymore. He doesn`t like dogs, especially big males (most likely from bad experiences in his past) but if you introduce him nicely to one, train either animal to respect boundaries, and use patience in monitoring Buddha with a dog, then he is good and lets them be.This rugged beast is picky about his cat friends and loves to be super affectionate so being the only pet is his ideal home, so this little gargoyle gets all the attention.Buddha loves his people, but you`ll have to put up with the occasional love bite. He really has a personality and is not a wallflower.
