Calico kittens & cats in Commerce, Texas

Ginger found us and is so friendly to humans! My other outdoor cats haven’t accepted her so I think it’s better to find her another home. She is so beautiful and sweet!

My niece is needing to rehome her Delta. Delta was found hanging off a bridge and my niece could not resist. Kirsten is a full time college student as well as part time work and just has no time left to give to Delta. Delta is a 1 year old female cat. She loves to play, knows a few tricks (sit, come, and touch (where she taps her nose to your finger), and doesn’t wake you up in the morning for food. Her favorite toy is a spring and she’ll follow you everywhere. She likes playing in the shower when you’re done with it. She needs an experienced cat owner know knows how to deal with and correct the occasional play that gets too aggressive. She gets along with most other animals with time and proper introductions.

Tabitha is a beautiful DSH dilute calico female born approximately 2/4/2024. A Bond That Can't Be Broken: Tabitha and Dorian Tabitha and her best friend, Dorian, a stunning Russian Blue mix, are an incredible duo and share a special bond that began when they raised their kittens together. About the same age, they are truly a comfort to one another and would be heartbroken to be separated. We can't stand to break up this special family! While Tabitha is a bit shy at first, she is a true lovebug once she trusts you, and will happily curl up in your lap for a good petting session. Dorian, the more curious of the two, will often sit nearby, observing her new surroundings before approaching. This elegant young lady is also a true connoisseur of fine dining and can't resist a delicious meal of her favorite wet food. These sweet gals love to snuggle together and would do best in a calm and patient home where they can take their time to settle in. Sofi is a precious DSH Calico female born approximately 5/29/2025. Sofi, along with her mom, Alice, and brother, Tucker II, was rescued by a good Samaritan who reached out to NBCR for help finding this sweet little family loving forever homes. Sofi loves cuddles and belly rubs. She gets along with other cats, but her favorite is humans. She loves to use her powerful singing voice and purr. Laci is a strikingly pretty DSH Calico female born approximately 12/12/2024. Meet Laci! Thanks to a concerned citizen, I am no longer roaming the streets. I may have wandered off from my home and gotten lost, but since I wasn’t microchipped, there wasn’t any way to know. I had a collar on, but no tags. After a couple weeks of no home and no one looking for me, the kind people at NBCR took me in. With all of the recent changes in my life, I have become a little fearful, but I am slowly relaxing and starting to play in my foster home. I am with other kitties and do okay with them, as long as they are nice to me. So far, there is only one that doesn’t like me, and we are separated so that both of us are comfortable. Otherwise, the baby kitty looks like she might be someone fun to play with after I become more confident in my surroundings. I am a sweet girl, follow my foster mom around like a puppy, and enjoy sitting in the window looking out. I am learning to use the scratching post, and with more time and training, I think I will be a pro. I love to nap close by my people and will play with you if you initiate playtime. Zoey is a lovely DSH calico/tabby female born approximately 10/10/2024. Whether you say “Zoey” or “Pretty Girl”, she knows you’re talking to her. This fantastic, spunky girl is fully embracing her playful, kitten side. Zoey lives for fun: she’ll bunny-kick toys with gusto, chase the infamous Red Dot, run circles after her own tail, practice parkour around the house, and has beef with one particular pair of house shoes – but luckily not while they are being worn! Her newest obsession? Attacking a trickle of water from the bathroom sink. Zoey is also a regal perch-dweller and can often be found surveying her queendom from a high vantage point. She likes to have a variety of approved scratching options. She waits politely for meal times and cooperates nicely during nail trims. She enjoys looking out the window and sometimes chatters at the squirrels. While she’s not a lap cat, Zoey is wonderfully affectionate in her own way. She likes to hang out nearby, often following her person from room to room. She welcomes pets and will curl up near your legs in bed for part of the night if given the opportunity. Purrs are activated when she’s picked up for a brief snuggle. This quiet young lady tends to communicate without words. You will typically only hear her meow for a little while in the car or if she gets trapped in a room (oops!). She can be shy around strangers at first but warms up quickly.
