We adopted the beautiful and uncharacteristically calm Ellie from a local SPCA in 2015 when she was a few months old. For the past five years she's been living in a household with children. She is at her best when you let her come to you for affection and will gently let you know when that time has come to an end. She has exhibited a great deal of patience toward our boys. She is very friendly with adult guests, and likes to eat dry kibble for treating hairballs, sink faucet water, and a daily-scooped litter-box. She also lets me clip her claws which I do every few weeks Our children have been too rough and loud with her, to which she has always given flight instead of fighting, but despite her seemingly bottomless patience, in spending most of her time evading, our third child a now newborn, and based on my own childhood experience we think it is time for her to find a new home to live out her next phase of life while she still has her patience with the small humans.

Scraggles is a very unique calm cat. She is 3 years old. We found her a few years ago as a small kitten meowing in a bush near our home and have kept her in our family since. She is sweet and loving and good with kids and other cats!! She loves to play with her toys and toss them in the air and chase after them. We are relocating and unfortunately not able to bring her along.

Molly is one of a litter of kittens that showed up with their mama on our back porch back in April this year. The mother and one of the kittens disappeared so we rescued the remaining 4 when they were about 8 weeks old. Molly is a very sweet and playful kitty and friendly to humans once trust has been established. It takes some time for her to warm up to strangers. We also have a male littermate of hers named Jasper, who is also very sweet and playful and the two of them are very bonded. It would be ideal if they could both go to the same adopter. Molly is mostly white with black and orange (some tabby stripes) spots

LuLu is a lovely 7-month old torbie kitten. She came into the shelter with her siblings after likely being born to a feral mom, and they were all battling illness when rescued. LuLu’s healthy now, but her tough start has made her wary of people. Her foster family has worked patiently with her, and while she isn’t comfortable with human affection yet, she absolutely enjoys the company of other cats—both playful kittens and calm adults. LuLu would do well in a home that already has a confident, friendly cat who could be her companion. She could also thrive in a safe indoor-workspace or warehouse-type setting where she has room to be independent, while still having a reliable food source and shelter. Because she has spent her entire life in foster care, she’s not really suited to a traditional outdoor barn-cat lifestyle. Lulu is spayed, current on vaccinations, microchipped, and FeLV/FIV negative. My previous owners could no longer care for me, so I was surrendered to Rockwall Adoptions in hopes of finding my forever home.
