Meet Princess Cali, a breathtaking 3-year-old longhair Calico whose story is one of true resilience and love. Cali came from a heartbreaking situation—living outdoors among more than 40 stray cats on a small rural farm. Whether born there or simply surviving there, life was never easy. When Critter Cavalry Rescue stepped in to help, Cali was one of the lucky ones who got her second chance. She arrived with a severe eye infection that required surgery to remove her damaged eye, but she hasn’t let that slow her down one bit. Once a feral cat who had never known human affection, Princess Cali has blossomed into a gentle, affectionate, and trusting companion thanks to her patient foster mom. This towering figure is Toga and shes the definition of elegancy and class. Shes known to be very playful and opinionative and will show you her sassy side every now and again. Shes used to having space all to herself and has recently made the difficult transition to shelter life here at the Richmond SPCA. While shes a bit weary of strange new places and people&#44 shes ready to start making new friends and opening up in small amounts. She enjoys rubbing her cheeks on object to leave her scent everywhere and will chirp and ask for attention from people she knows!
