Murphy is a rescue who’s sweet, independent and self sufficient. Like most calicos, she is independent, spends a lot of time alone and will come out to talk with you when she wants to. She is about 3yrs old so a bit spunky but very good with kids, cats, dogs, and strangers. She has some trouble with anxiety and it results in urinating outside the litter box. We and her vet believe the commotion of two small kids and the hectic work schedule we both have contribute to this. A calmer environment would alleviate the anxiety and behavior. When things are consistent and calm she does fine with the litter. I think she’d benefit from having another cat to play with. She loves watching the birds and being outside on our 2nd floor deck She is otherwise and indoor cat. We want her to have the home that’s best for her while ensuring our home is safe and clean for our kiddos.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi! My name is Lydia. My babies and I were found outside the Sistersville City Building by two nice ladies. They called the Olive Branch for help. I needed a safe place to take care of my babies. Both of my babies have long since been adopted, but here I am...waiting. I don't understand why. I'm a very nice kitty. I'm a litte bit shy at first, but I'm looking for ear scratches and attention in no time. I get along well with the other cats, and I don't seem to mind dogs, as long as they aren't too nosey.  I'll make a great companion for someone who is looking for a bright eyed girl like me! I have been spayed, combo tested and vaccinated.
