Cocoa is an adventurous and gentle girl who gets along well with both cats and dogs. She enjoys time both indoors and outdoors and, while she tends to be independent, she becomes very affectionate once she warms up. When I first received Cocoa, she had mild upper respiratory symptoms, but she’s since made a full recovery and has not needed any vet visits since then. I am including a new litter box, and am happy to transport her anywhere within reasonable distance from Winchester, VA.

She loves to play with toys and will sit beside you for a short time—just make sure not to rub her flanks. Like most cats, she loves treats, and she enjoys sitting on the back of the sofa gazing out the window. This is the purrfect spot to watch the birds. You'll often find her waiting patiently outside the bathroom door, respecting your privacy. Philomenia definitely values her 'me time,' so she would thrive best in a home as the only pet. A little over 2, she is incredibly sweet and one of the first to approach any visitors to the Cat Shed. She came to us through trapping along with her own kittens - survivors due largely to Charlie's amazing job as a mom. All kittens have long been adopted, but despite her pretty self and winning personality, after months, Charlie still hasn't found her people.
