Story
Bennie is a 6 year old female cat. She is fixed, but not declawed. She has a great personality and obviously very cute. She has lived with 2 dogs and does great. If you have a dog she will be shy with them for a bit before warming up. Has not lived with other cats. We are expecting a baby and don’t feel comfortable having a cat that can jump in the crib at any time. We have an automatic feeder, water fountain, bed, and lots of toys that will be free to her new owner.

These cats are in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin too!

Story
Meet Edie! Edie is a petite, senior gal who recently lost her owner and is now on the search for a new home. We have made some progress with her socially but most days she is content just being left alone. Her life has been turned upside down so this is to be expected with any senior animal trying to adjust to a new life without their person. Edie needs a home that is quiet, no kids, more than likely no other animals, and just space and time. Right now she isn't an affectionate cat but maybe some day she can open up her heart to a new family. She enjoys her lickable cat treats and has allowed pets while she is eating her favorite snack. We would love to find her a nice retirement home to live out the rest of her days in peace. She is only 9 years old so she could have a few good years left. Story
Meet Weasley! Weasley is approximately 1 - 2 years old, and came to our shelter as a very frightened stray. While he can still be a bit shy he does warm up quickly with some quiet talking, and scratching his chin. After the first couple scratches he will be leaning in for more! Weasley is a light orange tiger with some white on his nose, chest, and feet that make him a strikingly handsome guy. Another quick way into his heart is the lickable treats in the squeeze tubes. He seems to do well with most other cats but he can have a rougher play style so another active cat that can keep up with him would be best. Due to him still being a shy kitty he may do best in a home without kids or older, teenager kids, that will give him time to warm up to his new home. Weasley loves to play and snuggle so we know once he gets in a home and fully adjusts he will becoming a great addition to almost any home. Weasley's adoption fee is $100, and he is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, FeLV/FIV negative, and microchipped. Story
Meet Moon! Moon is a middle aged male cat that was surrendered to our shelter when his owner passed away and no one was able to care for him. We were told the Moon is 4 - 6 years old, and he is big brown tabby and white kitty. Moon's life was turned upside down when his owner died so we have been slowly trying to win him over through short daily interactions, offering treats, and attention when he will accept it. Going from one main caregiver to a shelter setting is really hard on most animals like Moon. Moon was previously in a home with other cats but due to limited information at time of surrender we cannot confirm that he interacted well with the other cats. At this time we feel Moon would do best as the only cat in a quiet home with someone who is just looking for some extra company but is expecting a companion that is always seeking out attention. Shy cats like Moon can become some of the most loving cats once they meet a person who is patient enough to let them bond at their own pace. If interested in adopting Moon please fill out an application online by going to this link: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/RAB/Cat
