Story
Cairo (AKA Kai-Kai) is a BEAUTIFUL 11 year old Torbie with a pretty chill - pleasing personality. She can be a bit chatty at times. She LOVES playing with a couple toys, taking naps and sitting on the love seat next to Mom while watching TV. An alternative to watching TV is interactive play with the fishing pole toy. The patio TV door is also a great place to chill and watch the neighborhood dogs and their people walk by. Pets & head scratches in the morning and evening are required on demand - but only until she informs that she has had enough.Sleeping at the foot of Moms bed (or head of the bed or under the covers leaning against Mom) is a great place to spend the night, unless of course wander-lust takes over. Then it is off to the patio TV to watch the nocturnal adventures of local birds, rabbits, squirrels, etc.Cairo is shy around new folks coming into the home and HATES the VAC-COOM! Hiding under the bed is the only safe space when the VAC-COOM starts up! Thunderstorms are ho-hum no big deal. Cairo is up tp date on shots, etc. She is a little chunky and we are trying to help her drop some weight. She likes flaked fish flavor, fancy feast ( can per day) and no more than cup kibble per day. She does receive a Churu or Delectable treat - one every few days.Cairo would like to be adopted as the only cat but we also feel like she would get along with other cats and respectful dogs with proper introductions.  *This kitty has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, and is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. If you would like to meet this kitty please fill out an application for adoption at https://www.kindredkitties.org/cat-adoption An approved application must be on file before we will arrange for a meeting with kitties in foster care. Adoption fees for our kittens 9 weeks to 1 year are $150 for one kitten. Adoption fees for adults (over a year) are $100. Thank you for considering a Kindred Kitty.

Story
Meet Chia 🐾Chia is an estimated two-year-old calico with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She was found as a stray with six tiny kittens, doing her best to care for them while she herself was sick, underweight, and struggling to get by.Thanks to dedicated care and a safe place to recover, Chia was able to regain her strength—and once her own kittens were weaned, her nurturing spirit shined even brighter. She stepped in as an adoptive mama to another litter in need, showing just how loving and selfless she truly is.Now it’s Chia’s turn to be cared for. This goofy calico girl is full of charm and personality. Once she gets to know you, she melts right into your arms and happily soaks up affection—she’s especially fond of a good hug.Chia is ready to leave her mama days behind and enjoy a life where she’s the one being spoiled. If you’re looking for a sweet, resilient cat with a playful side and a heart of gold, Chia may be your perfect match 💕 If you are interested in learning more or would like to set up a Meet & Treat appointment, please fill out an adoption application on our website: www.hsbcpets.com/adopt

Story
Meet Daisy 🐾Daisy is a one-and-a-half-year-old tabby with a sweet, easygoing personality and so much love to give. She was found as a stray and is ready to find a home of her own. This lovely girl is especially fond of dogs and would likely do well in a home with a canine companion. She’s also a big fan of snacks (food-motivated, in the best way!) and can often be won over with a tasty treat or two.Daisy enjoys affection on her own terms—she doesn’t love being picked up, and she much prefers curling up next to you on the couch for some quiet companionship. She’s the perfect buddy for cozy nights in.She’s also good friends with Trish! While they don’t need to be adopted together, they do get along wonderfully and could make a great pair for someone looking to welcome two cats into their home.If you’re looking for a gentle, sweet companion who will happily keep you company (especially at snack time), Daisy might be your perfect match 💛 If you are interested in learning more or would like to set up a Meet & Treat appointment, please fill out an adoption application on our website: www.hsbcpets.com/adopt

Story
She is a beautiful, quiet soul who thrives in a one-on-one environment. While she isn't a fan of the hustle and bustle of children (she will hiss to ask for space), she is a world-class napper and will be your best friend once the house settles down. She is looking for a 'retirement speed' home where she can bask in the sun and reclaim her throne on a comfy sofa."
