Havarti and Swiss were born here at the rescue when we accepted their momma, Graylee, who was heavily pregnant and ready to give birth any day. Even with a building filled to near capacity, how could we possibly turn a blind eye to a momma in need. On 3/7/26, we welcomed four tiny newborn babies. Graylee has been a great momma, but it's time for her babies to fly the coop. Two of their siblings have found homes - Havarti and Swiss await their turn.
Both girls are super friendly and affectionate - thus the less than stellar photos of them. It's nearly impossible to get a great shot of either as they instantly want to be loved on the second you walk into their room. They are NOT kenneled during the day but are at night for safety. Pictures of them kenneled were the only way we could get a shot of them together, and somewhat still!
The girls are bonded, so we are hoping they can be adopted together. Once you meet them, you'll understand why keeping them together is the best option. If you have room in your heart and home for a pair of fabulous kitties, you won't go wrong by choosing our loves, Havarti and Swiss.
Both are great with other kittens and adult cats. Children are their jam! Dogs are an unknown but we are certain they would come to love a doggie companion given a little time and proper introductions - their personalities are so loving, that we just don't see a dog as a stumbling block for them. Most kittens do absolutely fine with dogs once they learn they are not a threat.
