Calico kittens & cats in Sparta, Wisconsin

Gertie and her littermate Gracie are 9-year-old spayed calicos. They are exclusively indoor cats and are bonded to each other. Gertie is more social than her sister and likes to sit on your shoulder. Gracie will sneak in for affection when Gertie’s not looking. They play-fight from time to time but they’re often asleep on the same chair or bed. They both have mad parkour skills when they get the zoomies. Gracie once hit my bedroom light switch at 2am and scared me half to death. They like to hop up on the bathroom counter and drink a little bit of running water. They have a small Facebook following from their yearly antics with my nativity scene. They must stay together and be indoor cats. I’m sad to rehome them, but my life is in some upheaval right now and I can’t give them the attention (and vet care) that they deserve. I want to find a home and a person who will love them the rest of their days.

I’ve had Gertie and her litter mate Gracie for almost 9 years, since they were 3 months old. Their mom was killed by a car when they were only 2 weeks old. A friend bottle fed them until they were weaned, but she couldn’t keep them. I have always kept them indoors and they have always been together. Gertie is the more social of the two and tends to overshadow her sister a bit. She likes to sit on my shoulder and pace on me. I’ve not been financially able to keep up on vet visits, but she’s always been healthy. She is spayed. Her favorite nap spots are on the top of the cat tree, the back of the couch, or in the bathroom sink. She is friendly and will let you know when she wants to be petted. She has never had a litter box accident. She likes to play wrestle her sister and can sound ferocious but she’s a softie. I love her, and I want a great home for her. Maybe yours?

Clover is a pretty female tortie who is looking for her forever home. Clover is a shy cat and is very bonded to her boyfriend, Emmet. They will need to be adoptted together. She relies on him more than he on her but have a very loving friendship. She enjoys being petted. Clover will need a person who is willing to be patient with her and let her come out of her shyness at her own pace and work with her to not be so timid. She would do best in a quiet, calm home. Emmett is a beautiful  male tabby. Emmett is one of our longer term residents. He tends to be a bit on the shy side, but when he is comfortable with you, he enjoys a good scratch on the head! Emmet is bonded with his love, Clover, and we would want them to be adopted together. She relies on him more than he on her but he does love her and they are always together. Emmet does not seem to be very fond of men, he becomes very timid around them, so it would be best if he goes to a home without men! Meet Gato! Gato is a handsome male cat. He gets along with other cats well and loves playing with them. He enjoys being petted and is quite playful. He loves to sit and watch what you are doing, and sometimes he will even help you!  He is a bit on the skittish side so his adopter will need to have patience and let him get used to his new surroundings. Gato would do best in a home with older children and no dogs.  He will need to have a local adopter.
