His owner passed away - he has some healing lick granulomas on his legs - see below. Can you help this boy who lost his home? He needs a foster home for a rescue to be able to save him as rescues rely on fosters. Rescue takes care of all medical and supplies - can you help him? He is also available for adoption. WE ARE COURTESY POSTING THIS DOG FOR THE MORENO VALLEY ANIMAL SHELTER TO HELP THEM FIND A HOME. The shelter is severely overcrowded and desperately needs help finding adopters. Dogs are being turned in higher numbers than the shelter can accommodate; therefore, many are losing their lives simply due to a lack of cage space. We are helping get the word out about their immediate need. Please save this deserving pooch and clear a kennel for another dog in need today! This beautiful dog is located in the Moreno Valley shelter. Shelter needs to clear kennels. They are over capacity and all available dogs are in urgent need. Compared to photo, appear improved & less erythema noted Rule out acral lick granuloma vs other Highly recommend continued cone wear to prevent licking while healing. Keep lesions clean and dry. Please dry if get wet to reduce risk of reinfection Prognosis of full resolution fair but effect on quality of life is minimal if infection is prevented. Recommend considering antianxiety medications or allergy medications if itch is not controlled. He was saved from the streets of Thailand by our partners at the Soi Dog Foundation and underwent months of treatment, love and affection to completely transform into his now happy-go-lucky nature. He has taken to his new rescued life with enthusiasm!Danillo will put on a huge smile for the TBL volunteers and any others who happen to come by with pets or a tasty treat (or simply a "good boy" - he's not that picky). He comes when he's called and loves attention. Some of his favorite pastimes include: chasing and being chased, cooling off in the kiddie pool, and hanging out with the volunteers at the Ranch.
