lue is a well-adjusted indoor/outdoor pup who loves car rides, pup cups from Starbucks, and dog jerky treats. He’s great with kids and other dogs, and while he may get a little excited when greeting new people, he quickly settles down into his lovable self. This smart boy already knows several commands including “paw,” “circle,” “sit,” “stay,” “drop it,” “easy,” and his favorite—“walk.” He’s vaccinated, neutered, and ready to bring joy to a home that will cherish his playful spirit and loyal heart. Blue is looking for a fresh start through no fault of his own. If you're searching for a loyal companion who’s always up for an adventure—or just a cozy cuddle—Blue might just be your perfect match. Ready to meet your new best friend? Blue’s waiting! ##1726853##

Story
Meet Birdie! She is around 1 year old and we believe she is a Terrier and Chihuahua mixed with possibly Basenji. She has short caramel, black and white colored fur. She is a super sweet girl who loves her toys and you will always see her with a stuffed toy in her mouth. She is housetrained when she has access to a backyard and enjoys going for walks and playing with dog friends. She can be a little choosy with dogs at the dog park so isn't the best choice if you are looking for a dog to take regularly to the dog park. She loves all people, including kids. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Birdie, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing. Thank you for joining the Adoption Family with Labs and More Rescue. We are here to help you find a furry companion. You will find our quick and easy adoption application at www.labsandmore.org and click on Adopt. Please email us at I doginfo@labsandmore.org if you need assistance. Thank you for looking to a rescue group to fulfill your dream of adding a new dog to your life! Story
Meet Penny! She originally transferred to us a young pup from the Chula Vista Animal Care Facility in 2018. Adopted in 2018, Penny returned to us in July of this year. She was originally listed as a Labrador/Boxer mix pup, but seeing her full adult size and markings, we now have her listed as a Basenji mix. Penny's developed anxiety in her previous home which compounded over the years and became fear-based reactivity. We recommend reviewing her origin & progress stories below: Penny's Return: https://www.facebook.com/heartofgoldsshelter/posts/pfbid02whoN43cDPKKKExEqBHq8kNDkwHXBJbQxJfXndK3EhSgGXJ5puaaSwnpfwezrsCRFl Penny's Progress: https://www.facebook.com/heartofgoldsshelter/posts/pfbid02QEToHtcCTP6NbKebvtiZs3yPU3yPAyDeFVDvthiYo8fxSMV9SxP4qRALxSXyDm94l Penny's most recent update: https://www.facebook.com/heartofgoldsshelter/posts/pfbid02F4tFELzbyTDVdd4mjFi6VAHEek4hCMMTZpzY5B3p7oNsMDboHESyawFPyWrQN63Ul Behavioral Considerations: With dedication to her training with CRT K9 Dog Training in a foster home setting and being surrounded by those experienced with the nuances of dog behavior, Penny is thriving and enjoys her foster home filled with 5 dogs, two foster dogs (Princess & Stitch), and 4 cats. While there are multiple management techniques in place that help her peacefully co-exist in a multi-animal home, Penny will do best in a home that has either: -No pets -An owner with extensive experience with safely managing a multi-dog (any size) or multi-animal household (she can get a little carried away when playing and needs to be slowed down) -An owner experienced with reactive dogs Penny develops a heavy attachment to those she loves. She adores her foster mom and with love, patience, and a structured setting, she will also look at her future mom/dad as though you are her sun, her moon, and all her stars. A loyal gal indeed! We want her to succeed in this second chance at adoption and are looking for an adopter that is not just excited about her adorable face and kissable cheeks but has the experience and means to care for a dog that isn't looking for the mental overstimulation that dog parks provide. Penny prefers to get her exercise with her people and dogs she has built trust with, and who are respectful of her boundaries. We as humans can definitely empathize with that! While Penny does enjoy cuddle time, down time, and lots of kisses, she is quite the track star and loves to sprint, explore, and fetch during play time! A home what will keep her active in a safe & controlled environment is where she will thrive! We will send a package of professional training sessions to her future home, to give Penny her best foot forward in a new environment. A trainer coming directly to an adopter's home for these sessions will ensure that she thrives and is helped along through another life change. Regarding COVID-19 and other contagious illnesses: Please reschedule any visits if you are sick.

Story
DOB: June 2019 Weight: 40lbs Disposition: Engaging, Happy, and ConfidentMeet this spirited and handsome pup, Danillo! Danillo is an incredibly brave boy. He was saved from the streets of Thailand by our partners at the Soi Dog Foundation and underwent months of treatment, love and affection to completely transform into his now happy-go-lucky nature. He has taken to his new rescued life with enthusiasm!Danillo will put on a huge smile for the TBL volunteers and any others who happen to come by with pets or a tasty treat (or simply a "good boy" - he's not that picky). He comes when he's called and loves attention. Some of his favorite pastimes include: chasing and being chased, cooling off in the kiddie pool, and hanging out with the volunteers at the Ranch. The icing on the cake? Danillo is housebroken and non-destructive.
