Story
Daisy is currently residing in East Tennessee at woofwoof fosters dog rescue. She spent some time of her life in a high-kill shelter where she had been found starving in the streets. Later on, she was adopted by an elderly man in his 90s. However, Daisy was too energetic and active for him to take care of her. The man was forced to part ways with Daisy, his dog. However, he couldn't find a place for her as all the shelters and rescues were full. We were full as well, but received a call to rescue Daisy while the man was at the vet's office, where she was scheduled to be euthanized! We couldn't say no to this special girl, and boy are we glad we didn't. It's worth noting that Daisy has her own unique story, which makes her very special. While she is crate-trained, she prefers to be close to her human(s) on a dog bed or couch. Daisy is a well-behaved dog, although she has a penchant for the taste of good dog beds. She loves to cuddle and play and has been tested with cats and deemed unbothered by confident felines who don’t run. She will however need some work on for the cats who run. However, she does prefer to be the dominant female dog and may have issues with other female dogs who are not submissive. Daisy enjoys being indoors near her humans or playing outdoors with other dogs. Daisy needs to be fed separately from other dogs as she has a strong focus on food, and has had to fight for it to survive in the past. However, she is not aggressive towards humans when it comes to food, even if something is taken away from her. Daisy has not had much socialization with young kids so she requires a home with older children that will respect her space (8+) or no children. Daisy has been doing great during our 'Doggy Day Out' events. She loves car rides and pup cups! During our last outing, she walked well on a leash while we were inside Rural King. Daisy also enjoyed getting petted by strangers and familiar adults alike, and was happy to give kisses to everyone who asked for them.

Story
Rani and her littermates are from Arkansas. Their owners locked them in a chicken pen when they moved out. By the time they were found they were starving and dehydrated. A foster was found to care for them and now they are ready for the next chapter. A much brighter future awaits them! According to Rani's foster family:"She is a sweet charmer and well socialized with small and large dogs, cats and small children and babies, all of which she is unbelievably gentle with. She's energetic and not a perfect match for our timid, senior dog (also a Wright-Way rescue) but does love a good snuggle session and would do well with any older dog(s) that were confident enough to teach her manners". ------------------------------------------------------THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN SAVING A LIFE!Volunteers and staff are excited to assist you in the adoption process!
