Story
Hi, I am Luca, an affectionate 2 ½-year-old Canaan Dog that has quite a story! I am originally from a shelter in Bethlehem, Palestine. I made my way to the United States in August and have been fostered in New Jersey since. I have adapted well to my new life and am excited to find my forever home. Once I get to know someone well, I'll warm up to them quickly. There is nothing I won't do for cuddles and belly rubs! This is because I love people! I also like other dogs; however, I need a slow introduction. I know my basic training commands and am exceptionally good at “sit” and “down.” My foster family has worked with a professional trainer, and they continue to train me. They report that I am making great progress as my breed is very smart and known for my exceptional training abilities. According to my foster family, I am extremely loving, affectionate, and loyal. I love hanging out on the porch or in the backyard and would do best in a home with some enclosed outdoor space. I will happily rest my head on my foster mom's lap or turn over for belly rubs while we are watching TV. I am fully house trained, vaccinated, and healthy. I would do best with an experienced forever person or family who would take pleasure in continuing to train me. My ideal home is one without little humans since I enjoy a calm environment. Will you open your heart to me?

Story
Daisy is currently residing in East Tennessee at woofwoof fosters dog rescue. She spent some time of her life in a high-kill shelter where she had been found starving in the streets. Later on, she was adopted by an elderly man in his 90s. However, Daisy was too energetic and active for him to take care of her. The man was forced to part ways with Daisy, his dog. However, he couldn't find a place for her as all the shelters and rescues were full. We were full as well, but received a call to rescue Daisy while the man was at the vet's office, where she was scheduled to be euthanized! We couldn't say no to this special girl, and boy are we glad we didn't. It's worth noting that Daisy has her own unique story, which makes her very special. While she is crate-trained, she prefers to be close to her human(s) on a dog bed or couch. Daisy is a well-behaved dog, although she has a penchant for the taste of good dog beds. She loves to cuddle and play and has been tested with cats and deemed unbothered by confident felines who don’t run. She will however need some work on for the cats who run. However, she does prefer to be the dominant female dog and may have issues with other female dogs who are not submissive. Daisy enjoys being indoors near her humans or playing outdoors with other dogs. Daisy needs to be fed separately from other dogs as she has a strong focus on food, and has had to fight for it to survive in the past. However, she is not aggressive towards humans when it comes to food, even if something is taken away from her. Daisy has not had much socialization with young kids so she requires a home with older children that will respect her space (8+) or no children. Daisy has been doing great during our 'Doggy Day Out' events. She loves car rides and pup cups! During our last outing, she walked well on a leash while we were inside Rural King. Daisy also enjoyed getting petted by strangers and familiar adults alike, and was happy to give kisses to everyone who asked for them.

Story
Luna was adopted from the K9 Global Dog Rescue from Jordan. She was found in the desert in Jordan, and my ex-husband was there at this time with the US Army. She is 6 years old, she is a very calm dog and independent. She loves the beach, running in the sand is her favorite thing to do. Loves belly rubs, and just cuddling on your feet. She doesn't go on furniture. She doesn't even like to sleep on the bed, she loves to have her own space where she can relax when her social battery is drained. She knows commands such as sit, lay down, and paw. She loves eating cheese, any kind of cheese, really. I cannot provide her with all the love and attention she deserves, I want her to go to a safe and loving home. I can cover her pet wellness plan with Banfield Pet Hospital until it runs out on sept 16, 2024.

Story
** Current Location: in a local shelter in South Korea** Rescue Story : Meet Hyonie👋 the sweetest gentlest soul! Hyonie was found in a park in South Korea at four months old in March 2022 and taken to a high-risk shelter alongside her two sisters. Luckily, they were saved right before euthanasia by the rescue team. While one of her sisters is living with a foster family, Hyonie is still in the crowded shelter, awaiting her forever family. Personality: Shy, Cuddler, Smart Hyonie is somewhat shy around strangers and barks a little. However, she is surprisingly a BIG cuddler to people, which means that all she needs is a little bit of time to open up in the beginning. If you are searching for a cuddly pup, she would be a great fit! She learns things quickly as she is a food-driven smart cookie. You will definitely find training her a part of the joyful journey with her! With Cats : Not tested With Dogs : Gets along well with other dogs. She’s a submissive and gentle type of dog. With Adults/Kids : Good with adults / Unknown for kids Shedding : 5-6 Food Allergies : No. Walking Manner : in training and improving! Housetrained : Hyonie knows how to use pee-pads even though she lives in the shelter. She may go potty indoors (pads) and outdoors both when adopted. Bathing/Brushing : Good Bark or Howl : Barks a little bit toward strangers Likes & Dislikes : She likes going for walks, playing with toys, and chewing stuff. / She doesn’t like being kept in confined spaces. Health : She has had two of her toes removed due to blocked circulation of blood caused by blankets tangled around her toes. She's been fully recovered and now fine walking and jumping!
