Meet Frosty 🐾
Frosty is a 1-year-old Husky mix weighing about 36 lbs (16 kg). He’s on the smaller side and is fully grown — but what he lacks in size, he more than makes up for in sweetness. ❤️
Frosty loves everyone and everything. He gets along wonderfully with dogs, children, and cats, and his foster describes him as nothing short of perfect.
His story is one of incredible resilience.
On May 10, 2026, his foster was heading out for her lunch break when she spotted what appeared to be a dog wandering the streets of South Texas. He had almost no hair, was in terrible condition, and looked utterly defeated. After some time, she was finally able to trap him and get him to safety.
From that day forward, Frosty began his journey back to health.
It took months for him to recover from the neglect he had endured, but today, Frosty has gained weight, his gorgeous coat has grown back beautifully, and the happy, loving dog underneath it all has truly emerged.
And what a dog he is.
Frosty is:
• ❤️ Incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loving
• 🧸 Obsessed with soft beds and cozy places to curl up
• 🎾 Playful and loves his toys
• 👧 Wonderful with children and absolutely loves having kids around
• 🐶 Great with other dogs, although he is very submissive and would do best with kind, gentle canine companions
• 🐱 Great with cats — they simply don’t bother him
• 🏡 Crate trained and house trained
• 🦮 Great on a leash
• 🚗 Always ready for an adventure and happy to go anywhere
• 😌 Relaxed and perfectly content to hang out with his people
Frosty would love a home with a backyard and children to play with, but he is adaptable and could thrive in many different types of homes. He would be perfectly happy as the only dog or sharing his home with another dog, provided the other dog is gentle and respectful of his submissive nature.
His favorite food is chicken nuggets.
Most of all, Frosty wants what every dog deserves: a safe, loving home where he can finally enjoy the life he should have had all along.
He is one of those dogs who takes your heart. After everything he has been through, Frosty is still incredibly trusting, loving, playful, and eager to be part of a family.
He deserves the very best.

Frosty is ready for his forever home.
Frosty is neutered, heart worm negative, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, microchipped, current on de-wormer and will receive a clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to adoption.

This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We ONLY do adopt in Central US and the East Coast.
The adoption fee listed ($595) INCLUDES transport from Texas to the Northeast.
