Meet Boone, a vivacious 2 year old, 36 pound mixed breed boy picked as a stray and brought to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 5/8. This very handsome boy has a soft, fluffy coat, an infectious smile, and blue/one brown eye. Where to start singing his praises!? He may be house trained as he appeared to have held it until he arrived outside. He walked quite nicely on a leash. He ran and played with abandon in the yard. He is very sociable and happy to have a human friend give him some loving attention. He is playful, has a moderate activity level and is loaded with an appealing personality. In the yard, he was very curious and scouted out the smells and activity outside the shelter yard. He does jump on you, but not overly so. Boone knows the sit command, but was not interested in the treats I offered him. I thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with him and would encourage anyone interested in meeting him to do so.

Thelma And Louise were dumped together on a county road with little hope of survival. Louise was adopted. Thelma is still waiting. She is now approaching being a Senior. She is very sweet, .oves to go for a walk and lives with a male dog well. They can be adopted together or individually. These girls are laid back and ready for whatever you want to do. Whether its a walk or a nap on the couch, as long as they are with you they are happy.
