Story
Looking to rehome our 2-year-old Cane Corso to the right home She’s a very sweet, loyal, and affectionate girl once she warms up to you. She came from a neglectful/rough situation before we got her, so she can be shy and skittish at first around new people, especially women. Because of her past, she’ll need someone patient who understands nervous dogs and is willing to continue working with her confidence and training. She has never seriously bitten anyone, but she did nip once out of fear when overwhelmed. Since then she’s continued to show that she’s loving and caring once comfortable. She would do best in a calm single-family home with space and a consistent environment. We haven’t personally tested her around cats or small children, though previous owners said she did well with them. Due to her size and nervousness, we’d prefer a home experienced with large breeds or guardian breeds. This is not an easy decision — we just want her to go

This pet is part of the rehoming program and is not in the care of the CCSPCA. Please read carefully and reach out to the owner directly via cell: 559-598-9284 or email:jhailiathao@gmail.com. The owner states, “She lives in a busy household, hence why we are unable to care for her. She is social with dogs, people, but not cats. She has not bitten anyone. She is energetic, smart, loving, but has separation anxiety.” Due to the pet not being in our care, it is out of our control when and if the owner responds to your inquiry. Thank you.

Story
Dahm is a beautiful Cane Corso who loves family time and playing with bottles. He is the son of our previous Cane Corso, from Valencia Kennels. He is 17 months. We would love for him to go to a home of experience owners who understand this type of giant breed. He needs a home that is filled with love and someone who has adequate time for him. Unfortunately, our schedule does not afford us the proper time to give him what he needs. Dahm is playful, loves to be indoors and play outdoors, he enjoys long walks, he's curious, and protective over those in his family. Adjusting may be the hardest part for him because we are a type knit family, but with proper trust mechanisms and training he will be a wonderful companion.

Story
URGENT - Need Foster or Forever Home (Fresno,CA) Hello, I have to leave an unsafe living situation in less than a week and need immediate help placing my pets safely. I am trying to avoid taking them to a shelter. Chief is a 3 year old Bully Mix and is a total sweetheart. He loves cuddles, playing, and even watching TV. He is not neutered and is still learning good leash behavior (he can get distracted by things on walks, but is improving). Once he is introduce to new people and new animals, he is super friendly and loving (he just wants to give you a hug when he jumps on you). Chief has a very sweet, friendly, and goofy personality.

Story
Meet Birdie: 110 pounds of emotional support freight train with the soul of a retired grandma and the surprising athletic ability of someone who absolutely should not be that fast. She is currently seeking her forever home with a loving family who appreciates a strong, independent woman in a very large dog body. Bonus points if you have small dogs and/or cats, because Birdie considers herself their extremely committed (and slightly overbearing) security detail. She isn’t a fan of large dogs but hoping training will help with this but a home with a large dog currently isn’t an option. Now let’s talk about the plot twist: despite being 110 lbs and working through a rough past tarsal ligament injury + hip dysplasia, Birdie can and will teleport when motivated. You’ll be thinking “aww sweet slow girl” and then suddenly she’s across the yard like she just heard a chip bag open in another dimension. So yes—low impact lifestyle, but also… stay alert. Her ideal home includes: • Flat terrain (we’re not climbing Everest, thank you) • Minimal stairs (her joints would like a word) • A shallow kiddie pool, where she enjoys standing like a philosophical hippo • A calm household where she can fully relax into her soft, snuggly era but committed to continuing training to open up her world to making new friends Personality-wise, Birdie is deeply loving, loyal, and sweet. Once you’re in her circle, you’re IN. She will lean on you with her entire body weight (this is not optional), follow you around like a very large shadow, and provide unmatched emotional support… while also judging any new human who walks into her home. Birdie will be spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Birdie is about 3 years old.
