Story
Greta is an 8-month-old, blue brindle Cane Corso who is the epitome of the breed. She has the most velvety coat and the cutest face that you cannot resist. Greta is very sweet, but sometimes sassy and stubborn because she is still a puppy.  Greta has been good with all the dogs and people she has met, and currently lives with 2 other mastiffs in her foster home. She is very playful and would pair well with another large breed dog that matches her energy. Greta is currently working on crate training but does have separation anxiety and does not like to be left alone. The ideal home for Greta will be with a family who is not away from the home daily for too long and can continue to work on her separation anxiety.  Greta is still learning but with consistent training and a breed savvy owner - has amazing potential to grow to be the perfect companion.  She is house-trained and will sleep through the night on her doggy bed in an open crate and walks like a dream on leash.

Story
Ophelia is a beautiful pup with unique gray/brown coloring and light blue eyes that will mesmerize you. Her big, floppy ears and velvety soft fur will make you fall for her immediately. Ophelia is great with other dogs and loves to play with her foster sister, but she is also very respectful of her foster brother who doesn’t always want to play. She is non-reactive to cats. Ophelia is house-trained and crate-trained and is doing well with leash training. Her perfect home will continue to set good boundaries for her as she continues to grow; they will be excited for the rewards and challenges of raising a large-breed puppy.

Story
Queenie is a sweet and sensitive puppy. She was very scared upon rescue and has been through a lot in her short life. She has blossomed in her foster home with the gentle guidance from humans, dogs, and cats. She is very playful once she feels comfortable but is still learning to trust people. A calm dogs’ guidance will help her continue to gain her confidence in the big world. She feels safe in her crate but loves to have another dog around as a companion. She is making some progress with leash training but will need continued training. Her favorite things include playing tug-a-war, belly rubs and basking outside in the sun. The perfect family for her will be devoted to helping her gain her confidence through training. They will also have another large dog and possibly a cat for her to play with. Her foster family says, “She is a gentle soul. Earning her trust and watching her learn to be a playful puppy has been the most rewarding experience. We are head over heels for Queenie.”

Story
Hi I'm Mariah. Nice to meet you. I'm a 5 month old cane Corso pup. I was rescued from a really horrible situation. I was in a backyard with 40 other corsos. Breeder gone bad. Luckily, a group of rescues came in and saved all of us. Me and my brother, Memphis, are in a foster home together now learning all sorts of good stuff like crate training, house breaking, and basic obedience. I am fostered with other dogs, a cat, and a young child. I will need a human(s) who will provide leadership, structure, and routine. I will grow up to be a big dog so all of the groundwork is very important for my future. I can't wait to meet you p.s. I will be spayed prior to leaving rescue xo *please note All of our dogs are in private foster homes. Once you fill out an application it will be screened by our volunteer adoption team. From there, if your application looks like a good fit for the particular dog, it will be sent to the foster where you can ask all the questions you would like and schedule a meet and greet. We do not transport our dogs. If you apply from out of state we do request you come to Los Angeles to meet us and fly home in cabin or drive. www.apurposefulrescue.org
