Story
I’ve had Hazel 11 months and got her from a home with two smaller dogs; no issues but no yard for a big dog. She’s 2 1/2; no longer getting along with my 8 yr old bloodhound. Last month Hazel bit her ear. Big dogs, so I thought they just got crowded but she has since tried for no reason I could see, to attack her 2 more times. We keep them separate. She is a very sweet and loving girl and it breaks my heart to have to give her away. My husband is 70 years old and not real stable. I work full time and afraid if there was trouble, they could knock him down. She also has a torn ligament in each of her hind legs. The vet said most people do not do the $12,000 surgery, but instead give her pain pills as needed up to twice a day. She gets around fine, but her hind legs are weaker so sometimes it’s difficult for her to get on the loveseat. I’m hoping preferably an older male because she loves men, with no other dogs, is looking for a lifelong companion to love and get love in return.
