Story

Hi! I'm Maelin (Mae Mae) and I am 2 years old. I am a shy, sweet girl that was recently surrendered to the shelter due to no fault of my own. My mom loved me very, very much and giving up my fur brother and I was very hard on her. She gave the shelter all kinds of information on me, so lets talk about it! I have successfully lived with my fur brother (Kilo who is also available for adoption), other dogs, cats and kittens and infant and have done well with them. I do chase the cats in the home but I do not injure them in any way. I am housetrained and will sit at the door to let you know I have to potty! I do need a crate when you are not home and need to be properly crate trained. I am a food motivated girly that enjoys food and treats over toys, but I do play with a ball and stuffed toys on occasion! I also like bones. A bad habit I have is jumping up on people, but its to give you a big ole hug! I am a lover girl and I sure do love a good snuggle session! Unlike Kilo, I do well for grooming and nail trims! I have escaped my home a time or two because I like to run out the door and hang out in the yard... so I would keep an extra close eye on me if you have young ones that like to run in and out because I'll want to join them! I am used to eating Iams large breed dog food (chicken and whole grain) and have done very well on that brand! If you have read this far and are looking for a snuggly girl, here I am! Story

Copper has a lot of energy and loves to run and play. He will be 1 in October. He is good with other dogs and our kids (6 and 13). He's never been around cats but does like to chase squirrels and chipmunks. He is house trained but does sleep in a kennel. He can sit and shake. He is up to date on shots other than needing his rabies shot. We are moving and the landlord won't allow him due to him being a cane corso mix. He will come with his kennel.
