Story
Koco is a lovely dog very energetic and loves cuddles, she is playful but also very protective when she needs to be. I’m looking for a home that will be able to give her the love and time she needs. If it’s possible can I still see her when it’s possible?

Story
Meet Ferdinand! This handsome goofball is all wiggles, smiles, and enthusiasm. Even though he’s a big, giant boy, he acts like he's a baby puppy! When he's excited he likes to use his mouth...sometimes he forgets he’s no longer a tiny guy. Nobody has taught him that when you're a big boy with a big boy mouth, you can't act like a puppy anymore. With structure and consistency, he’ll thrive. He wants to please; he just needs a bit of guidance. He’s still figuring out the world. He's already learned so much since being here - he blossoms with reassurance. He’s a giant baby and simply needs someone willing to teach him how to behave like the dapper gentleman he wants to become! Ferdinand would be best in an adult home because of his mouthy tendencies, his big, bouncy self, and the fact that he is still learning his manners. If you think Ferdinand is your perfect match, please give Woodford Humane Society a call and schedule an appointment to get to know him! 859-873-5491.

Story
For return calls on Indy, please submit an application. It is much more productive to speak with you when we have an idea about your living situation. Due to limited resources and time, we will not be answering questions or returning calls until we have an approved application. That is the first step in our adoption process. Her adoption fee is $500 Applications can be found on our website: https://www.jessaminehumanesociety.org Just as we say for all adoptions, be sure to do your research on the breed before applying to adopt. This is an extra large breed. This breed needs an alpha owner, lots of socialization and exercise. Indy MUST go to a home with a fully fenced yard to provide safety and proper exercise time. Indy is a 10 month old, female Cane Corso. She currently weighs about 100lbs. She has been in the same home since she was born and well taken care of. The current owner just doesn't have room for another large dog. She is a sweet, playful girl. She has been in a home with older children and loves them. She hasn't had any issues meeting new adults. She does not like cats or small dogs. She would likely do well in a home with no large female dogs. She spends most of her days outside in a fenced area. She is crated during the night. She is working on leash walking. Potty trained to 100% will not take long since she is already trained when crated. Before she is adopted, she will be spayed, UTD on all vaccinations, microchipped and dewormed.
