Story
My husband and I purchased Doc 5 years ago from a reputable recommended breeder. Doc Holiday is AKC registered. He has been with us since 8 weeks old, he has been socialized with people, loves kids and has lived with 1 dog which we already had prior to Doc. He attended a several week training class when he was about a year old ,so he knows basic commands and does wonderful on a leash. Unfortunately we are divorcing and no apartments will allow him due to his size. He’s a very sweet loving boy and we are looking for a good home for him

Story
Artemisia is our 4-year-old December baby and has been our girl since she was six weeks old. She has been a great family pet that has loved on her human brother and cousins, and her dog brothers and sisters. She has always had a rambunctious side that she will tell you all about. She loves to beg for lovies and wag her butt, will do anything for a treat, and loves to chase her tail. The rehoming fee is to ensure she goes to a good home that will provide her needs. That fee will go towards her coming to you with a month supply of her meds. She needs a forever home where she can be the alpha fur baby and her experienced pawrents can provide her daily steroid pills and monthly shots for her Addison's Disease. She has a history of fighting one of our other female dogs for alpha spot so we reiterate she needs experienced pawrents in a home where she can be the alpha female dog.

Story
Titus is a highly energetic and affectionate dog to his owners. He loves to play and just be around you all the time. He does have a bad jumping habit we have never managed to break. He is currently 10 months old and recently fixed. While he is kind to us he has a car and stranger chasing issue that we have not managed to curb despite our best efforts. With that and his size we have to re home him with another new child on the way. If he gets an owner with a large amount of free time to dedicate to him and a fenced in area he will make an amazing dog for someone else. He recently started having a digging issue as well. He would make an excellent guard, hunting or rescue dog as he is extremely strong with a fantastic tracking sense.

Story
Sissy was found as a stray in Perry County. She was in bad shape, she had an opened wound and she was very skinny. After taking her to the vet we had learned she had a fractured pelvis, but it would heal without needing surgery. Sissy will need an experienced adopter. She is fear reactive to new people. With time and patience she is capable of warming up to anyone! but she just does not get the chance while she is at the shelter. She adores the staff here and we adore her. She is incredibly obedient, smart, and loving. She has great dog manners and never jumps. She listens to "no" better than any other shelter dog in our facility. If she is given the time and patience she needs, she could be the best dog. She is around 3 years old and a beautiful large breed. We suspect she is a cane corso mix based off of her droopy eyes and her personality traits. She does not bother cats whatsoever and she also has many dog friends at the shelter! Please email REASmanager@gmail.com for an adoption application or questions.

Story
Meet Tyg (Tygrys) ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL: YOU CAN ADOPT TYG FOR JUST $1! PLEASE SHARE THIS POST FAR & WIDE. TYG DESERVES HIS HAPPILY EVER AFTER! Sadly, Tyg has been at the GRRAND kennel for over a year. The kennel volunteers recently had a pool party to celebrate Tyg's one-year anniversary at the kennel - he got to swim, eat doggie cake, and of course, get dressed up! Tyg is a 5-year-old Anatolian Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix who came to GRRAND in 2019 as a 3-month-old puppy. He was adopted by a couple who sadly had to return him in June 2023 due to unforeseen circumstances. He was so sad and would sit by the fence looking for his people to return. He is now settled at the kennel and is certainly a volunteer favorite! Once he decides you are okay, you will be his best bud - but it takes him a while to warm up to new people. He will try and squeeze his 100+ lb body on a chair with you for hugs and kisses. The volunteers love to dress him up and he never complains; the perfect model! He loves the pool and gets to go for a swim every day in the summer. He is very well trained on the leash and loves to go for walks, but he does have a tendency to lunge at large trucks and vans so he needs a strong hand to keep him under control. Tyg is a special boy. He is extremely sweet, loyal and protective of his people. We believe it's best for Tyg to go to a home with an experienced dog owner, no other pets and no children, ideally with a large fenced yard he can patrol, and few outside visitors. Please open your heart and home for this wonderful boy. He will repay you with an abundance of love and loyalty. #anatolianshepherd #anatolianshepherdmix #belgianmalinois #belgianmalinoislovers #belgianmalinoisofinstagram GRRAND trainers have promised Tygrys that they will educate the right family on how to handle a breed like his. If you would like to meet Tyg, please fill out an app at GRRAND.org   ##1734296##
