Hi, I'm Stormi! You may remember me from last year where I ended up at the shelter after running loose in the woods for about two weeks. I am back at the shelter, looking for my forever home. I'm a Cane Corso, a breed known for its intelligence, strength, and loyalty. I'm 1 year and 7 months old. I'm sweet and affectionate when I'm in the right hands. I do suffer from some separation anxiety so I'll need help with my confidence and how to self-soothe when alone. I also would love to be given a job to perform so I can keep myself entertained and prevent boredom. In my previous home, I lived with cats, so I'm used to having furry siblings. I promise, once I get to know you, I'll be your most loyal friend. I'm looking for a human who understands my breed and can give me the love, assertiveness, training, and care I deserve. Ps. I love getting rewarded with treats. Adopting me means gaining a friend who will always be there for you, who will love you unconditionally and make your house a home. Senior momma Jolene is still looking for a place to live out her golden years! Hello my name is Jolene. I'm a 7-8 yr old Cane Corso mix. (Rhino's mother) I've hadn't had the best start to life so will need someone dedicated to show me how good life can be. I get nervous when meeting new people. It takes me a few days to trust. A calm environment would be best for me but once I open up the ladies here say I'm extremely friendly and loving! I am dog friendly and when it comes to cats I pay no mind whenever I go for a walk I have no interest. I am housetrained and walk well on leash. I'm around 80 pds. I'm spayed and up to date on all my vaccines and preventions. Unfortunately I am heartworm positive and have already started my treatments.
