Story
Meet Majesty—and yes, she absolutely lives up to her royal name. She may look like she`d rule the kingdom with an iron paw, but she`s actually more of a goofy queen who believes every new friend is a loyal subject waiting to give her belly rubs. The moment you approach her kennel, Majesty is at the gate with a wagging tail, ready for her royal outing. For such a big, beautiful Cane Corso, she`s surprisingly easy to walk and hardly pulls at all. She enjoys getting out for adventures and would love a family that can treat her to daily walks where she can proudly strut her stuff.Majesty knows `sit,` takes treats with perfect manners, and has a playful side that shines once she`s outside. Toss her a toy and she`s ready for fun, or let her splash around in the pool where she`s perfectly content to cool off with a little royal wading session. Around other dogs, she has shown friendly interest and even enjoyed a playful moment through the fence, though a meet and greet is recommended to make sure everyone gets along. Her favorite thing, though? People! Majesty is incredibly affectionate, easy to handle, and loves spending time with her humans. When she gets excited, her happiness comes out in full force—she can get a little bouncy, jumpy, and mouthy, so she`ll benefit from continued training to help her remember that not everyone is prepared for an enthusiastic royal welcome. Because of her size and exuberance, she`s recommended for homes with older children. Majesty has been adopted before, proving she`s easy to fall in love with. She was returned because she thought chasing the family`s cats sounded like an excellent hobby, so she`ll be happiest in a cat-free home. If you`ve been searching for a majestic best friend who`s equal parts playful goofball, and affectionate cuddle bug, Majesty is ready to reign over your heart—and maybe your couch, too.

Story
Hello there! My name is Lucky and it's really a misnomer because you're going to be the lucky one to have me in your life. And I'm not blowing smoke up your butt. I'm that awesome.    By all accounts I'm sweet, snuggly, and so very loving. I double dog dare you to find anyone at Desert Haven that says otherwise. They all love me because I'm so lovable. Well, truth be told, every dog here is lovable and the volunteers here love every dog. But if you pressed I know there are a few of them that would point to me and whisper, "He's My Favorite!" No one here wants any dog to feel like they're not the favorite but here's why I rise to the top of the heap of Darling Dogs of Desert Haven.    First off: I meet people in a friendly and happy way, from young to old. No one has to concern themselves with, "How should we do this introduction?" because I am just easy. I keep four on the floor, have a mega-watt smile, and wag my tail in delight. I'm big at 75 pounds but I'm gentle and very friendly.    Secondly: I love dogs and have had many dog friends in my three years of life on this Earth. I've lived well with small dogs and big dogs. I love to play and am a congenial fellow. If there were a pageant I would be a shoe-in for Mr. Congeniality.   Third: I am so very loving. I will snuggle right into your lap if you'll have me. If you think I'm too big for that, I will lay right next to you. I like some part of me touching some part of you. I love spooning and all things affection. Activity-wise, I am up for a walk, going to the dog park or the brewery for a cold one, playtime in the yard or doggie play dates -- but at the end of the day there simply must be snuggle time. I'm a world class snuggler and it's part of my charm!   Lastly, here are some more nuggets about me: I'm housetrained, crate trained, a perfect car traveler, a great eater, neat and tidy (I wouldn't dare mess anything up in the house), love long naps, and will not settle for anything less than being treated beautifully and with great care. I am up to date on shots, neutered, and microchipped. I'm healthy, happy, and full of life. My adoption fee is $75.   To sum it up: I am one of the best dogs you'll ever meet. I've got an enormous head and an even bigger heart. I love and attach and make the house a home. I came into rescue because my person passed away but I'm no longer grieving. I'm ready! I'm ready for my next great love. Is it you?   Love, Lucky  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 5, 2026, 11:03 am
