Story
Max is such a sweet boy when it comes to his people. He is a gentle giant with his family. He lives with us in Candler, with five other dogs and four cats. We have a doggie door and a fenced yard, so he can come and go as he pleases. He loves playing with his housemates and is usually fine, but he has become aggressive towards the other dogs regarding toys, bones, and food. He's great with children; we have an 18-year-old girl and three boys, ages 22, 9, and 7. He loves his family and has never shown aggression towards any of us, not with food, bones, or toys. We love him dearly but worry about the other pets. He needs a loving home where he is the only dog. He makes an incredible guard dog and is protective over his family. He was born on 1/15/2024 and will be eight months old this week. We have had him since he was seven weeks old. It truly breaks our hearts to rehome him, but I think it is best for the safety of the other dogs. He is crate-trained and house-broken.
