Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   If you would like to take me home please complete a Pet Adoption Application   Toby is a young adult with a heart full of love, but he requires an experienced owner who understands his breed and needs. Weighing in at 90 lbs, Toby requires an 18 AND OVER HOUSEHOLDS ONLY!This boy and his brother, Rocky, were born in November of 2021, and surrendered to us in August of 2022. The two of them had been running around a neighborhood and causing all kinds of havoc. Needless to say, they had no manners or training prior to coming in to us and the world was shut down during this time, so socialization was a problem.  The boys are a Cane Corso mix and weigh in at approximately 70lbs, we have them housed in the sanctuary part of Camp because of their size. In the sanctuary part of Camp the dogs have a room not a kennel, a bed, tv, radio, and a guillotine door to their own private pen, they can go in or outside as they please. Toby loves his long walks and is strong on a leash, knows simple commands, and is sweet with staff.  Toby will need multiple meets to be comfortable with you as his person, and any others in the household that live there. NO children under the age of 18 years old.  Corso’s are known for their protective behavior, so a low activity household is best. At 4 years old, this boy is more Corso than whatever he is mixed with, thus living up to his breed. A breed experienced owner is best. Toby loves his car rides and lying in the sunshine in his pen, “chatting” with his brother Rocky in the next pen over!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  March 7, 2026, 1:08 pm

Story
Diesel is beatiful Cane Corso. He’s healthy, house-trained, crate-trained, and overall a wonderful dog. We took him in about five months ago after friends in New York went through a divorce and could no longer keep him. At home, we already have two dogs—a German Shepherd/Lab mix and a 110‑pound Black Lab. While everyone eventually warmed up to each other, our older Lab (who is 9 years old) has recently become increasingly aggressive toward Diesel, and they’ve begun getting into fights. This has been a really difficult decision, but after trying to make it work, my wife and I feel that rehoming Diesel is the safest and most loving choice for everyone involved, including him. He deserves a home where he can relax, feel secure, and get all the attention he needs without conflict. He likes to play and gets the zoomies

Story
Meet Bully!Bully is a handsome Cane Corso with a big head and an even bigger heart. This active, affectionate, and well-behaved boy has unfortunately been bounced around quite a bit, and he’s more than ready to finally find the stable, loving forever home he deserves.Despite all the changes he’s experienced, Bully has remained a loyal and loving companion. He enjoys staying active, spending time with his people, and soaking up attention. Once he bonds with you, you’ll have a devoted best friend by your side.Bully would do best with a family that understands and appreciates his breed. He’s open to living with breed-savvy kids who know how to respectfully interact with a large dog, and he may also do well with other dogs after proper introductions. If you`re interested in meeting Bully, he is located at the Pennsylvania SPCA Danville Center on Bloom Rd. We are open daily from 12:00 - 6:00pm and no appointment is needed. Please bring everyone who lives in your home. If you have any questions about him, feel free to call the shelter at 570-275-0340 or email danville@pspca.org.-Pennsylvania SPCA Danville Center1467 Bloom Road Danville PA 17821Kennel# 2909
