Story
Leo Skepi is a strikingly handsome 1.5-year-old male Cane Corso mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. He’s a large, strong boy who’s full of charm and character. Leo is sweet, goofy, and loves to play—especially with stuffed squeaky toys and anything that makes a crinkle sound! Leo is also strong-willed and will do best with an experienced adopter who understands large, guardian-type breeds. He’s currently working on his manners and would benefit from continued training and structure to help him thrive. Due to his size and tendency to jump when excited, we do not recommend a home with small children. Leo may also be happiest as the only pet in the home, where he can soak up all the love and attention. He has not done well with other dogs he has been introduced to at the shelter. Leo is looking for a confident, committed adopter who will give him the guidance he needs and the affection he deserves. If you’re ready for an XL loyal, fun-loving companion, Leo Skepi could be the perfect addition to your home. **Breed-specific experience strongly recommended** Good with Dogs: Dog-selective at best. Would likely do best as the only dog in the home Good with Kids: Small children- not recommended, Older children- unknown Good with Cats: Unknown Good with chickens/livestock: Unknown Energy Level: Medium Training Needed: Yes – Needs to learn basic commands Housetrained: Unknown. He usually keeps his kennel clean- it is possible that he may have been housetrained at one time

Story
Ruby is a six year old American Pitbull Terrier/Cain Corso mix from a hoarding case where she endured physical abuse and many hungry nights. We suspect that Ruby was born and raised in that environment and has never received exposure to the outside world. Due to this, it takes Ruby some time to warm up to you.Once she does, she is an in your pocket type of pup! A wonderful sponsor is willing to cover my adoption cost of $225.00 so I can be adopted and enjoy being someone's best friend! All adopters must be vetted and approved to adopt from FOCCAS.Ruby has a way of making you feel wanted, when she greets you with a wagging nub and sweet face after a long day! She is very quiet and doesn't mind other dogs but would do best with a Male. She likes long walks and is doing well with leash training, and knows sit, down, touch and shake already! She does excellent when her foster mom bathes her and clips her nails, and is very patient. She is sweet and gentle until something scares her, then she jumps. She's good on a leash until something startles her, then she pulls.... And she's strong. She's a beautiful girl. Loving and gentle, loves attention but hates excitement. She's not a guard dog, she'll hide behind you in the threat of great danger, or if a butterfly scares her. Quiet, soft, and sweet Ruby, she wants to be right at your feetFOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. My adoption fee has been donated by an anonymous donor!!! If transport is needed, $300.00 will need to be added to cover extra vetting and testing requirements by the department of agriculture and transport fees (out of state, East Coast, Great Lakes or New England regions).
