You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Balder arrived as a stray. Can you imagine a dog this beautiful and unusual not being claimed by a family! Whew! We are in disbelief! Balder has some issues with his gait, and walks as though he may have had some trauma to his rear end (or at least his left rear leg) at some point in the past. Thanks to one of our volunteers, he has had a chance to go on some adventure outings already and has discovered his love for water!  We got a picture of him frolicking in the creek on his host's property last night! He is great with other dogs, reading their social cues well, and accepting corrections for inappropriate behavior without retaliation. While he may not have had the best care by his previous family (who remain unknown), he was loved! What else can we tell you?    PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. For questions about the pet, please email us at FOACinfo@gmail.com. All adoptions begin with an application, found under the  Adoption Application heading on our website, friendsofcampbellcounty.org. *Unaltered babies under the age of six months can be adopted only to residents of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, and counties touching Campbell County. *Unaltered adult pets six months or older will need to be sterilized before they can be adopted outside our local area of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, or counties touching Campbell. *We do not promote dog adoptions to homes where an invisible fence is the fencing of choice. *We do not permit cats or kittens to be declawed following adoption.
