Story
Ruby is a six year old American Pitbull Terrier/Cain Corso mix from a hoarding case where she endured physical abuse and many hungry nights. We suspect that Ruby was born and raised in that environment and has never received exposure to the outside world. Due to this, it takes Ruby some time to warm up to you.Once she does, she is an in your pocket type of pup! A wonderful sponsor is willing to cover my adoption cost of $225.00 so I can be adopted and enjoy being someone's best friend! All adopters must be vetted and approved to adopt from FOCCAS.Ruby has a way of making you feel wanted, when she greets you with a wagging nub and sweet face after a long day! She is very quiet and doesn't mind other dogs but would do best with a Male. She likes long walks and is doing well with leash training, and knows sit, down, touch and shake already! She does excellent when her foster mom bathes her and clips her nails, and is very patient. She is sweet and gentle until something scares her, then she jumps. She's good on a leash until something startles her, then she pulls.... And she's strong. She's a beautiful girl. Loving and gentle, loves attention but hates excitement. She's not a guard dog, she'll hide behind you in the threat of great danger, or if a butterfly scares her. Quiet, soft, and sweet Ruby, she wants to be right at your feet. Ruby needs to be an only dog.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. My adoption fee has been donated by an anonymous donor!!! Story
Georgia Mae is a 2-year-old Cane Corso who loves people and kids. She would do best as the only furry member of the family, where she can enjoy having her people all to herself. She loves to play and is always up for a game of fetch or tug-of-war. She also enjoys chasing birds and playing with all kinds of toys. Georgia Mae isn’t a fan of being hugged or snuggled, but she does enjoy pets and scratches. She’s a sweet girl who knows what she likes and is happiest when you respect her space. If you’re looking for a playful, people-loving dog who would thrive as your one and only, Georgia Mae may be a great fit!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Balder arrived as a stray. Can you imagine a dog this beautiful and unusual not being claimed by a family! Whew! We are in disbelief! Balder has some issues with his gait, and walks as though he may have had some trauma to his rear end (or at least his left rear leg) at some point in the past. Thanks to one of our volunteers, he has had a chance to go on some adventure outings already and has discovered his love for water!  We got a picture of him frolicking in the creek on his host's property last night! He is great with other dogs, reading their social cues well, and accepting corrections for inappropriate behavior without retaliation. While he may not have had the best care by his previous family (who remain unknown), he was loved! What else can we tell you?    PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. For questions about the pet, please email us at FOACinfo@gmail.com.
