Story
*We will not be hosting an adoption event on Saturday, December 13. We are offering private adoption appointments to pre-approved applicants December 8-14. Contact us to learn more!* Let’s be brutally honest: Gravy is not the dog you think you’re looking for. He’s the dog who shows up in your life and makes you question every choice you’ve ever made because clearly the universe was saving THIS chaotic little masterpiece just for you. Gravy is built like someone clicked “randomize character” and then walked away. He is a fever dream with fur. A loaf with legs. A short king forged in the fires of pure confusion… and he is PERFECT. This dog will steal your heart within seconds. Seriously. It should be illegal. He loves walkies and struts around with full confidence and questionable physics. Every dog he meets? Immediate best friend. No interviews. No references. You’re in the club. Humans get a quick vibe check because Gravy has standards. But once you make the cut, he loves you with the intensity of a gremlin you watered after midnight, you now belong to him. Crate time is its own three-act play. Gravy will bargain, monologue, and produce an Oscar-worthy sigh before accepting that yes, bedtime is happening. Treats increase efficiency by 400%. He’s sweet. He’s derpy. He’s curious. His fur feels like it was woven by woodland creatures. He tests boundaries not once, not twice, but three times — just to make sure the rules still apply. A true  scholar of the puppy phase. Gravy isn’t for everyone. He’s for the people who want a dog so weird, so wonderful, so absolutely chaotic and eager to please that they can’t imagine life without him. If you want a short king with sweet, gremlin energy and the softest heart on Earth, Gravy is your guy! Gravy is a 5-month-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $600 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. Gravy is also tested with other dogs and potty and kennel trained. He is not tested with cats or children. (Given his fun personality, we don't think he would have any issues with children.) We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! Story
Moose is a 9 month old, happy, and very energetic corgi mix. I love him dearly as does everyone who encounters him, but unfortunately I am currently unable to provide him with the stimulation he needs with my busy schedule. He is HIGH energy & MUST be with someone who can exercise and socialize him often. Corgis are also highly intelligent & need mental stimulation just as much as physical activity. Since he's still young, without proper stimulation, he WILL get restless. Fully potty trained and crate trained, but will be happiest with a yard or lots of walks. Not neutered because he's not old enough. He absolutely loves the dog park and fetch. Listing him as not good with small kids because since he's still young he tends to get very excited and jump up, which can be startling. He is very receptive to training though. He can also be a bit nippy when he plays but not in an aggressive way—he just has bad aim when going for his toys. Up to date on all vax. Fee includes supplies. :)
