Story
Meet Ralph A557965, the gentle soul who has absolutely no business being stuck in a shelter. From the moment you meet him, you can tell he is an old-school sweetheart who just wants a peaceful life with people who love him. Ralph walks beautifully on leash, enjoys a good sniff-and-stroll in the yard, and happily trots over for a hot dog treat before sitting like the very best boy. He has been tested with female dogs and does wonderfully with them, happily playing and sharing space with happily. He has not met male dogs yet! Ralph also loves lounging on his bed and soaking in quiet moments, which makes it especially hard to see how overwhelmed he gets when the shelter fills with barking and howling at night. He is past the puppy stage, past the chaos, and simply ready for a home filled with comfort and kindness. If you are looking for a calm, loving companion who would be thrilled to have a furry sibling to play with or a cozy spot on the couch to call his own, Ralph might be the one. Come meet him today and see why he has stolen our hearts. Ralph is guesstimated to be 5 years old and weighs 44 lbs. All dogs adopted from Huntsville Animal Services are spayed/ neutered, microchipped, dewormed, appropriately vaccinated, and receive a topical 90-day flea/ tick preventative.Ready to meet Ralph? All you have to do is stop by our shelter at 4950 Triana Blvd and head to our dog areas. You can find him in kennel D28. All adopters must be 19 years or older with a valid ID
