Story
🏠 Currently in a Toronto foster homeHi, I'm Nire! 🤍🐾 My name is Nire, and I'm a 3-year-old Shiba Inu mix girl weighing 14.3 kg (31.5 lbs). I have bright round eyes, a happy smile, and a heart full of love just waiting for my forever family. Before I was rescued, life was not very kind to me. I was saved from a shelter where my future was uncertain, but you would never guess it from the way I greet each day. I love people, I love being loved, and I still believe the best is yet to come. When we first meet, I might be a little shy and cautious. New places and unfamiliar faces can make me nervous for a moment. But if you give me a little patience and kindness, I'll soon come over to say hello, ask for pets, and show you my sweet and affectionate side. I enjoy spending time with other dogs, but if I'm being honest, people are my favorite. Nothing makes me happier than going for a walk together, sharing quiet moments, making eye contact, and simply being near the people I love. I dream of a family who wants a loyal companion to share everyday life with.I'm a smaller-sized girl with a calm and gentle personality. I don't need to be the center of attention. I'm happiest quietly staying by your side, watching the world together. As our bond grows, you'll discover that I'm actually quite the little sweetheart who loves affection and may even follow you around the house just to be close to you. I'm still working on my potty training, but I'm eager to learn and adapt. Because I enjoy human companionship and respond well to gentle guidance, I believe I'll settle into home life beautifully with a family willing to help me along the way.I've already survived one difficult chapter in my life. Now I'm hoping for a new beginning—a home filled with love, patience, and belonging. I don't need anything fancy. I just want a family to love and a place where I can finally stay forever. Could that family be you?Love,Nire 🤍

Story
Hi… my name is Gaon 🐕I’m a 4-year-old male Shiba × Jindo mix, and I weigh about 18kg.I was once placed on a shelter’s euthanasia list.Even after I was rescued, no one came for me for a very long time. The shelter became the only home I knew—far longer than any dog should have to endure. When people approach me, I don’t rush forward with excitement.Instead, I watch carefully.I’m afraid you might leave.Afraid I might be alone again. So I open my heart slowly, cautiously. But behind that hesitation is a heart that longs deeply to love a person.I simply never learned how to show it. I went so long without being chosen, without being loved, that I don’t always know how to ask for affection. That’s why I struggle when attention is shared with other dogs. It’s not jealousy—it’s more like a quiet plea:“Please don’t leave me this time.”That’s why I’m hoping for an only-dog home, where I can finally feel secure. When it’s just you and me, I’m a completely different dog.I’ll meet your eyes, lean gently against you, and offer shy little gestures of affection. Once I give my heart, I give it fully—with the deep, unwavering loyalty that Jindo dogs are known for.Home life may feel unfamiliar to me at first.I’ll need time, patience, and understanding. But if you’re willing to walk that slow beginning with me, I promise you this:I will become a dog who makes one person my whole world.A once-in-a-lifetime companion who loves quietly, deeply, and forever.Somewhere in a shelter, I’m still waiting—waiting for the one person who will call my nameand mean it for life.

Story
Hi! My name is Soony. 💛 I'm a 5-month-old Shiba Inu and Jindo mix girl, weighing about 5 kg (11 lbs). With my big pointy ears, fluffy coat, and always-smiling face, I'm a happy little puppy who's ready to fill your home with love, laughter, and endless adventures. Even though I'm still just a baby, I've already been through more than any puppy should. When I was very young, I was rescued while suffering from a severe skin disease. I was so sick that euthanasia was even recommended. But the wonderful people who cared for me didn't give up. With lots of treatment, patience, and love, I made a full recovery. Today, I'm healthy, happy, and ready to begin the life I've always deserved. I absolutely love people! I'm friendly, affectionate, and usually warm up to new people very quickly. If you give me a little attention, I'll happily wag my tail and come over to ask for more cuddles. I love other dogs, too! Playing with my canine friends is one of my favorite things, and I'm always excited to run around, chase, and make new friends. I'm already learning so many new things. I enjoy going for walks, ride calmly in the car, and adjust surprisingly well to new places and experiences. I'm also a very quiet puppy and rarely bark, so I'm an easy little companion to have around the house. Did I mention that I love food? 😋 I'm definitely not a picky eater! Kibble, treats... if it's food, chances are I'll happily eat it with a wagging tail. I'm doing really well with potty training and currently succeed about 80% of the time. Since I'm still a puppy, I may have a few accidents while adjusting to a new home, but with patience, consistency, and a regular routine, I'll keep improving every day. Because I'm only five months old, I'm still learning how the world works. I might chew on something I shouldn't, get curious about everything, or make a few silly puppy mistakes along the way. I'm looking for a family who understands that puppies don't come perfectly trained—they grow into wonderful dogs through patient guidance, gentle teaching, and lots of encouragement. The good news is that I love people, enjoy learning, and respond really well to praise and attention. I can't wait to learn all about family life and become the best companion I can be. I may have had a difficult start, but that chapter is behind me now. What I'm dreaming about is simple: a home filled with love, cozy naps, fun adventures, and people who will watch me grow from a playful little puppy into their lifelong best friend. Will you be the family that gets to share every milestone, every season, and every happy memory with me? I promise I'll make each one worth remembering. 💛🐾
