Meet Kate! Kate was found wondering around a neighborhood VERY pregnant! She humanely trapped. After staying a couple of nights with her trapper she made her way to Paw Posse Animal Rescue. She arrived at her foster home on a Thursday and gave birth on a Friday. Kate was a good mom but its time for her to find her forever home. She will need a patient home as she adjusts to a new environment. Kate loves her foster mom and dad. She walks on a leash and rides in the car. Kate is spayed, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and 4DX (tick/heartworm test) negative. Kate is approximately 2-3 years old and weighs 50 pounds. Lilith has had behavioral training and does well with other dogs, particularly off leash, but can be skittish and protective on leash and is not comfortable with strangers or children. Lilith takes Trazadone daily for anxiety. She would do best as an outdoor dog with plenty of room to run and play and would make a great guard dog for an experienced home that understands and respects her protective nature. Tegan is a very smart, independent, active dog that's looking for a new family. She LOVES to hike and still can go on 4-5 mile hikes and enjoy brunch on the patio after. She occassionally likes to cuddle but also loves her own space. Tegan always has energy for a good run or a long walk. She also likes to go out and hike in the desert. She definitely does not like water and acts like a cat. Tegan never begs for food but she is ready for breakfast and dinner when you ask "are you hungry?" or "do you want to eat?". Depending on the weather, we go out for walks around the neighborhood. She does a great job at not barking at other dogs while on the leash. She loves to just chill and relax while watching movies/tv. Tegan would thrive in a home with a family as being the only pet. She's very independent and enjoys being a solo dog. She gets along with kids, adults, and others onced introduced.

Tofu is a female Shiba Inu born 6/13/2021 who is looking for a new home. This is an extremely difficult decision for our family, but our daughter has developed severe allergies and we want to make sure Tofu can live somewhere she can receive the attention she deserves. She has completed all three levels of PetSmart training and graduated each class. She walks well on a leash and knows her basics. Like many Shibas she can be a little stubborn when putting on her harness, but once it is on she does great. Tofu has lived only with our family. She has socialized with other dogs and done well but has not lived with them full time. She is very sweet and independent but loves attention and will happily dance for butt scratches. She has never shown behavioral issues and has always been patient with children. A home with a very secure fence is required, as Shibas are known escape artists. Her rabies vaccine is due (about 3 months overdue due) Looking for home familiar with Shiba ownership.
