Story
Iyaa is a 3-year-old boy who loves his naps &belly rubs. He’s neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, fully housebroken, great on walks, and loves car rides. He enjoys paddle boarding, is incredibly sweet, loyal, and naturally protective of his person. He would thrive best in an adult-only home or a home with older teens. Absolutely no small children. He’s not a fan of too much sudden noise, and excessive energy. This decision breaks my heart. I inherited him after my father passed in June, and he truly became my soul pup. Unfortunately, he is very protective and territorial of me, and with young children in my home, he recently started guarding me from my 6 year old daughter. My kids’ safety has to come first & this truly breaks my heart. He is a wonderful dog who simply doesn’t have the patience for young kids, he does very good with teens and adults. I am desperately trying to avoid taking him to a shelter and want to find him the loving, stable home he deserves.
