Presenting Quartz, the 7-month-old husky mix with boundless energy and a gentle spirit. With his white and tan fur and huge ears that stand up tall, Quartz is as confident as they come. Weighing in at 28 pounds, this playful and loving pup is always ready for adventure. Whether entertaining you with his chatter or showering you with affection, Quartz's outgoing nature and infectious energy make him a joy. Quartz has mastered leash and crate training and is doing great with housetraining. Husky-like, he is quite talkative while crated. Plus, he gets along famously with other dogs and the resident cat in his foster home, making him an ideal companion for any pet-friendly household. Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption.
