HEART THROB ALERT!! Athletic and handsome as the day is long -- Boski is a recent graduate of our Enduring Service program! To learn more about this program, read about it on our website.Boski is a perfect mix of rockstar cool and snugglebug sweetness! He is young and still has some puppy exuberance. He thinks he's little and wants to be in his person's lap if possible. He loves fetch and tug of war with any toy. His favorite game of all though is "keep away". He loves being chased. He will often bring toys to his ppl and ask them to play with him. He is fairly high energy and would do best in a home where he has a yard, or access to a dog park where he can run. He is quite athletic and would be a great running buddy or agility candidate! He walks well on the leash with his two foster brothers and gets along well with other dogs.Boski came to the shelter October 2025 as a stray. But he seems to have been someone's family member previously as he has good house manners. He loves to chill out and cuddle when playtime is over. He knows many basic commands like sit, pay, down, stay, and "with me" (heel). Boski isn't one to pass up a good nap. He loves to just be near his person and do whatever his pack is doing. Boski is house trained, rides well in the car and has learned to live in a house without touching things that don't belong to him. He's smart and easy to train. He has not lived with cats or kids but likely could adapt to both. Boski is very dog friendly, but we recommend scheduling a meet and greet before adopting if you have another dog at home. Kanga was adopted in June 2025, after spending some time at the Austin Animal Shelter when he was found wondering as a young dog with scars on his body in October 2024. Because of this and his time spend without socializing, Kanga’s reactivity towards other dogs has not improved, and has grown difficult for me to provide him with the best quality of life in an apartment.Kanga enjoys walks, balls, fetch, playing tug of war and any other physical activity that comes his way. He’s also grown to love my 11 and 8 year old niece and nephew, and has grown especially fond of my niece and follows her around.Kanga would be a great addition to a family with an experienced dog owner who can provide him with better training than I would be able to.

Meet Nacho!Nacho walked into our driveway a few years ago and never left. We have searched and it seems like he is a Carolina Dog.Nacho is generally sweet with a laid back personality with those he knows and trusts. He is very protective and will bark at just about anything that goes by the door or window.We believe Nacho was dumped near our house and most likely abused. (He doesn't care for others being near his food bowl.)We need to find nacho a new home because we no longer have the capacity to care for him. We’ve kept him for multiple years, not knowing what to do with him, but we never really intended to keep him.We also travel very often and we cannot dedicate the time to him that we need to. He needs more attention than we can give.He needs a larger yard where he can run and protect the yard. He also comes with a large kennel!
